This week:  179.8

Survived Christmas okay.  Santa was very, very good to me but I had to make Best Buy run yesterday for new HP laptop that did not find it's way into my stocking. 

Storms in DFW missed us last night but getting hammered now.  Not getting out of the house anytime soon.  Have new computer and router to fine tune so have something to do.  Maybe take down tree too.  Not sure on that one.  Need to get "contraband" out of the house and get my ass on treadmill.  Gained about three pounds for the year.  No bueno.

Cowboys season ends, hopefully with a win, today with the Bills.

Ok, survived Christmas!  One more week to go ... Visiting our daughters in Phoenix so they decide to take me mountain hiking          !!  They say it is a fairly flat terrain, they lied. Hobart trail on South Mountain is NOT flat. 

I did make it though, 7 miles round trip including the mile hike in and out just to the trailhead (I thought that was the hike!)

Wow impressive, hiking for 7+ miles, congrats! I cannot imagine walking that far. Also congrats on losing 3 lbs this week!  It looks like in 10 months you have lost almost 110 lbs that is fantastic. Enjoy your trip.

i'm curious if you guys have experienced this:  my life is VERY routined right now. My diet and workout schedule are the almost exactly the same, day to day.  However, for a bunch of weeks in a row, I've had little to no weight loss on Monday, Tuesday, and (sometimes) Wednesday.  As we get closer to the weekend, I lose 0.75-1.5 pounds a day.  Interesting.  Is there something to it?

Hard to say.  Everyone's journey is different.  I tend to stick to a routine myself as far was what I eat especially at lunch.  Depends on the menu at the local café!  Have enough grease on the meatloaf to service a semi!

Congrats on losing 5 lbs this week. That is great.  I have noticed the same thing with my weight loss. At the beginning of the week, I do not lose anything. Then towards the end of the week I lose most of the weight. Not sure why.  It looks like you have almost lost 100lbs congrats!
