I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year Season. As you can see by my weigh in, I definitely had a very good time. I felt like a 12 yr old kid at an Old Country Buffet dessert table with my parents looking the other way. The good news (sort of) is that I am actually down a couple of pounds from my personal after Christmas weigh in.

This week its back to the grindstone. Although I had a great time with my kids and Grandkids, It will feel good to get back into a normal routine. This week it's Houston for me (hello Pappadeaux).

Football season is drawing to an end. My expectations for Michigan were far exceeded, while my expectations for the Lions fell far short. For the Lions, it'll be another interesting off season (that seems to be the only time they are interesting), starting tomorrow with black Monday.

Take care everyone and have a great week.

Gained .8 of a lb, ugh, going the wrong way this week.  But considering the holidays and all the snacks leftover on the kitchen counter and, and, and . . . .   Well I will take it and start the year with some due diligence.

Woke up this morning and the first thing I ate was a pinwheel cookie -- bad, bad boy.  My 6 month checkup is Friday with the surgeon, another 4.5 hour drive each way.  I wanted to be as close to 220 as possible, now just get me to 225 :-).

Also, on the agenda is a prostate cancer biopsy tomorrow as my PSA after my surgery bolted to 50 because of an UTI but didn't come back down as far as it should have, still at 11.1 at my last check.  Hopefully, nothing more than prostatitis and/or my continuing BPH issues. Started the 3-day course of antibiotics today, have to give myself a Fleet in the morning and the biopsy is tomorrow afternoon.  Wish me luck.

Everyone have a good New Year...

A modest drop, but I'll take it. Things definitely have slowed down but that's to be expected after dropping nearly 245 pounds. There's just not that much more to lose. Yay! Selfishly, I'd love to hit 199.9 just to say I did it but either way I cannot be any happier about the overall loss.

2 more weeks until Hawaii, so I'm very much counting down the days. I'm SO ready for a break and to sit on a beach and read a book.

Have a great week!

Hawaii sounds like a great time. Especially after losing so much weight.

OK I'm going the wrong way trying to maintain . I'm going to get back to basics and make sure I don't eat anymore crap. I'm getting water and vitamins I need to get some more calcium. I have not exercised all week. Happy new year!

I am still wrapping my head around maintaining after a year. To me, its WAY harder than losing. Your weight will go up and down, the idea with maintaining with that you will be in a weight range. Its tough to see your weight go up though after seeing a drop week after week.
