With all the Mexican food and Barbeque this week, I'm happy to get out with a slight .2# loss. This coming week is Florida, so I should be able to cut my calories quite a bit. I started doing a new workout routine in earnest this week, and I was sore every day. Week 2 of the new workouts start this week and I know I'll be sore again. I hope that I'm picking up some muscle here.

Three shutouts in a row for Michigan's defense, and the offense showed up as well. That game was a lot of fun to watch yesterday. Next week is a big on with Michigan State coming to the Big House.

Have a great week everyone!

Well I was struggling with not eating variety of food I eat. I decided to add more steaks as of yesterday. I like steaks. I still have problems eating chicken breast , especially if it had gotten cold. So that will need to wait a bit before I try that again.

Highest weight=427

Day of surgery=362

Last week=241

This week=241

So I will see if this is where I end up for some time. Pushup are still hard on the core area. I started doing a few more on the steps as it is easier and I read that this might help build me up after I can't do anymore on he flat ground.

Ht:6'5 Start weight 427, surgery weight=362 current weight 238 goal weight unsure?

Mmm Steak...

Chicken breast still hurts to eat even almost two years out. It has to be cooked perfectly. I've made the switch to boneless, skinless chicken thighs. They are very forgiving, and much easier on the new pouch.

I can eat steak and hamburger with no problems, as long asit is either fatty, or cooked no further than medium rare. Its easy to get my protein in with either steak or chicken thighs.

Missed a few weeks as I have been on vacation .... pleased to have a little weight loss after that!

Back on a more fixed schedule through December so hoping for a steadier weight loss. Short-term goal is less than 230 lbs by 12/23/2015.

Finally my surgeon released me to take my NSAIDs again for arthritis. Although, he wants me to take Prilosec long term to protect my stomach from the NSAIDs which just means another pill, ugh. Anyway on Relafan+Prilosec now along with Tramadol for arthritis pain and my Flomax for general prostate issues as well as my vitamins.

I'm feeling great which is wonderful. I love my sleeve.

ohhh and Nebraska lost again...... YESSS!

Never underestimate the importance of the pre-weigh defecation. Still above the red line but could have been worse!

M-State beat Troy. Louisiana Tech comes to Stark Vegas next. Texas beat Oklahoma in the Red River Shootout for this year. If you don't need to go to Arlington, TX today DON'T! Traffic will be atrocious with the Cowboys first playing host to Tom Brady and his deflated balls then Rangers play the Blue Jays again in their ALDS.

Go do your thing!

I'm kind of surprised that I'm still dropping, especially after attending weddings the last three weekends. But I have been on plan the rest of the week, so I must be doing something right.

I hit my surgiversary earlier this week. I am so happy with my decision to have this done. It has been totally worth it. I have my one year post-op appointment tomorrow. The last time I saw my surgeon, after at my 6 month appointment. I was at 225 lbs, having lost 125 pounds in six months, and he smiled and muttered under his breath, "Holy ****" His goal for me was to eventually get to 250 lbs, and so I'm very happy with my progress.

Saturdays have been much more fun this fall with Harbaugh. We all knew that Michigan would improve, but this much? I'm feeling really good about Sparty next weekend, and Ohio in a few weeks. Unfortunately, I'm going to be on the road Saturday when Kickoff takes place, but I should be able to catch the 2nd half at least. Now only if the Lions could get it together. 0-16 part 2? Probably not with playing Chicago twice, but who knows.

Have a great week everyone.
