What a Pain in the Arse!!!

I'm with Grim on this one.  MY diet has 0 veggies and I'm regular as a clock with the perfect balance of volume and fluidity.

When you get your a$$ to the Dr as for some wine and cheese before the exam so you get wined & dined before being F@@#%ed.  Also make sure he only has one hand in your shoulder while doing the exam.  You are in trouble if he has both hands in your shoulders.

Best of luck and get checked.

My dietician asked me what green things I eat. I told that a while back I had some cheese that was a little old. She still thinks I was kidding, but I wasn't.

The OP should tell his doc to use two fingers instead of one on his exam. It's always good to get a second opinion.

thanks for all the advice.

I seem to have come to a self resolution.  As I suspected, I just needed to figure out how to soften things up to give my poor little pucker time to heal.  In addition to my nightly glass of metamucil, I am adding a teaspoon of pure magnesium citrate.  Wow, what a difference.  I am once again enjoying regular vacations in my log cabin.  Size and consistency is right where it should be.  I have had no pain for a few days, and no blood at all.  Still being very careful, but we seem to be on our way to a full recovery.

Soon this will all be "behind me."

*SORRY IN ADVANCE FOR THE T.M.I. NATURE OF THIS POST*

It sounds like I went through the same things as you. The problem was that although I went daily, it seemed like enough, but it wasn't to almost completely evacuate the bowel. What I had to do to give it time to heal is I used a Glycerin Suppository. After about 30 minutes I had the sudden urge to go and although what came out was still quite hard, it was softer than the rest, but I was shocked that so much could still be 'up there' even after visiting the bathroom earlier that morning.

If you are really blocked, and getting enough water, you are only softening the latest 'addition' to your bowels, and the other end will still be dried out.

I would give the suppository a try. I bought a whole box, but only had to use one to get things moving again.
