High weight: 253.5 (115kg)

Pre-op weight: 231 (110kg)

This week: 176 (80kg)

Goal: 165 (75kg)

Still can't believe this journey. I told my psychologist the other day that I sometimes wish my mind will catch up to what has happened in my body. I sometimes still tend to see the "super sized" me, despite what I see in the mirror and what people around me tells me.

Eating was okay this week...could have been better, but the long hours at work made me skip a meal here and there. The past week was also quite challenging with the gym routine...deadlines made me work late and left me quite drained...this week however will be better.

Quick question: I'm now 5 months post op, and found that for the past 3 or 4 weeks, I have not dropped anything significantly. It seemed to have stopped all together. I do however feel I am losing centimetres and even some of the "smaller" sized clothes I bought recently are starting to become a bit loose. Is this stall normal? For such a long period? Generally diet and exercise is as per "prescription"....any advise out there?

Have a great week everyone!!

Short answer is "yes" to your question about weight loss slowing the further out your are.

What WLS does to your head is just as big of an adjustment, if not bigger, than what it does to your body!

Well I forgot to weigh myself this morning since I had to work and left the house today at 6 am.

When I got home I weighed in.

Highest weight=427

Day of surgery (3-16-15)=362

Last week=247

Today=246.

I have my 6 month checkup with my surgeon this coming monday. I'm down 181 total and 114 since surgery.  I feel great and have been running into a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time and they aren't recognizing me. Then I talk and they loose it. Lol. I officially am at my high school weight. I was actually an inch shorter in high school. I'm trying to organize more lifting and push ups kinda stuff along with my biking.

Glad to see everyone is kicking ass and taking names. It's awesome to see such success. Both long term and short term. Have a great week.

Almost 2 pound loss... I'll take it. The past few weeks had been 4-5 each week, so a 2 is fine by me. I bought new clothes this week. 36" and "slim" fit. Who the hell am I? LOL!

Dolphins won (barely) so it's a good start to the season. Hope we can make a playoff run this year; it's been since 08 I think. So long, I can't remember, apparently.

190.0: Goal

Up a pound this week and actually did pretty well so will chalk it up to hopefully a mini-stall.  Have 10 days until a roadtrip vacation so I really want to get below 250 by then crossing my fingers.  Water is going well, vitamins fine, exercise has been a little struggle but I am trying.  Going to the rheumatologist in the morning with any luck I can start on some medication again for my very annoying arthritic pain in my hands, ankles, knees etc. etc. as the Tylenol is not cutting it.
