I was planning to drive to a hotel in Chicago, spend the night, and drive home today however the caffiene kicked in and I ended up driving all the way home. I weighed myself in and HOLY CRAP, essentially no weight gain in three weeks. Admittidly, I do not have a halo on my head regarding all my food choices, although not all were bad. I was pretty stable with vitamins and didn't do half bad getting to the gym.
This week, I have an annual meeting with other co-workers, and we've tried planning meals that are both meeting friendly and sort of healthy. We'll see how the week goes.
Several NSV's over the past three weeks include hiking in the Canadian Rockies, walking out onto a skywalk (and it ddn't fall into the canyon), and climbing an apple tree to get the best apples on the top branches. All in all pretty good.
I loved watching Harbaugh punch Oregon State in the eye's yesterday. I do not miss the spread offense at all, and am looking forward to Michigan football as it was intended to be played.
Now I getto watch the Lions debut after getting some work done around the house .
Have a great week everyone.

Yes! It felt good to type that 1. My surgiversary is on October 6th, so I'm thrilled to not only hit this goal but to do it in less than a year. These last 10 pounds or so were slow to come off, and took about 3 months, but that's okay. I'm also okay if I go a little over 200.
I missed the Michigan game, but I did record it and watch it when I got home. It was pretty nice to see. And unfortunately, with it being a 4:15 game, I won't be home for the start of the Lions game either. But I'll record that one as well.
The worst thing for me right now is dealing with my sciatic nerve. I had injections on Thursday, and they helped, but I have two more sessions. At least I can deal with it now.
Have a great week everyone!

150 lost and maintaining!
Last week: 172.4 (old scales)
This week: 174.6 (new scales)
After much use the scales I'd used since this process started laid down and died last weekend. Changing the battery did not help so out they went. New one may be more "accurate" than I care for them to be.
Stayed up to watch Mississippi State and LSU play to the last play of the game. 51-52 yard FG attempt by State to win. Wide right. Lost the game but beat the spread!
Cowboys and Giants tonight on NBC. Have to get a siesta today if I'm going to stay up to watch.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Well all of the beach trips are over so maybe I can get back on track with better food choices. I do belive that alcohol slows your weight loss so I have to back off of it. Still pleased to be where I am in 6 months but I know I can go further. NSV=I now weigh less than one of my boys. He's not too happy about it but I am. I am trying to give him advice so he doesn't end up living like I had to for all those years.
Alcohol will definitly slow if not stall weight loss. I have some pretty strict restrictions on myself if/when I decide to have a little wine.
My NSV was getting smaller than my wife. Like you with your son, I'm trying to gently coach, but its hard. She wants to be suuportive, and she tries, but its tough. I think anyone who goes through this make some changes in their families eating lifestyle.
