Sunday Weigh-In
Last week: 172.2
This week: 172.0
Seeing how John is GOA, gone on arrival, this morning for shiggles I'll start today.
Divorce was finalized Monday!
Tough week in Law Enforcement with line of duty deaths. Two in Louisiana, the Harris County deputy but locally another agency in the county lost a man to a massive heart attack. He was covering an open shift in dispatch, was done for the day, stood up and literally dropped dead. In same building as their FD/EMS folks, they scooped and ran but he still passed. His funeral was yesterday. He was 48.
Next week HAS GOT TO BE BETTER!!
Go do your thing!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Thanks for starting the thread, I was 12 seconds behind you... :-). Making some gains here but leaving on vacation for 10 days on the 23rd of September so short-term goal is 250.0 by then. That will be the next big challenge to survive a road trip.

A nice 3.2 drop! I am on antibiotics for a nasty sinus infection (chronic; I don't think it'll ever go away). I was expecting some challenges with weight loss, but it doesn't seem to have had any negative impact. Exercise has been good and I'm feeling great!
When I first started this journey, my surgeon asked what number I'd be happy with. I just threw out 240 as it would be I was "overweight" and not "obese" from a BMI perspective. I honestly never really thought I'd hit that number. And certainly not in less than a year! But here I am. :)
I've readjusted my goal to 220. Maybe I can keep re-adjusting until I feel "done" and ready to move into maintenance. I can't even get my head around that, going into maintenance yet. Obviously I'm a ways off, but this is the first day I've thought about that word.
Have a great week!
Isn't it a cool feeling? I've adjusted my goal a few times. My surgeon originally gave me 250 as a goal. I knew I wanted to get under that, but I never thought I'd be where I am.

150 lost and maintaining!
Congrats on the finalization!
Here in Michigan, a state motorcycle trooper was struck by a guy hauling a trailer, and abruptly changed lanes to get onto the freeway onramp. The driver never noticed, and was only informed when he stopped at a rest stop and other people pointed it out. Just...wow. The trooper had 4 kids, and I just feel so bad for his family.

So close to my ultimate goal! It's going to be here anytime now. I'm anticipating making a GOAL post sometime this week. Especially with starting back up to work next week.
And a great football week coming up, with Michigan's first game under Harbaugh, my fantasy football draft, and the Lions last preseason game. Best part about fall!
Have a great week everyone!

Well,
I can't believe I'm not 6 month out and I'm going to be adjusting my goal again. I was first told to expect at least 261 then I hit that and adjusted to 252 since that would put me into "overweight" not "obese". So I will just see where it goes from here....I eat and try to get my protein over 110 for the day and make sure I'm getting over 75 Oz of water. I have my 6 month doctors visit I think Sept 14 or something. Should be interesting. I'm feeling so much better and I am enjoying riding the bike 30 to 45 min every other day minimum. I'm still having a hard time believing I'm at 250 again?? I haven't been this since college playing basketball.
