Welcome, and great job so far. The traveling stuff is WAY easier after losing the weight.

This week I’m pretty much status quo – up 0.4 lbs overall and up 0.6 lbs muscle mass.  I made it to the gym 5 days this past week for cardio and strength training.  I did ok mindfully eating.  Protein was good and water ok.

I hope Dan Quinn can apply his Seahawks magic to my Dirty Birds.  First preseason game is Friday night against the Titans.

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

That is so funny and spot on about staring into the mirror.  My wife accused me of becoming infatuated with naked myself.  Secretly though she has again too.

In a slump.  I seem to lose weight in 5 pound chunks, and then get stuck for two weeks, and then lose 5 pounds again.  Working hard on the fluids and the swimming. Also need to watch the alcohol. Swam a mile this AM outside and watched the moon set and the sunrise.   Pretty cool.

Overall feeling great.  I have not weighed less than 300 in this century and it feels great.  Getting below 300 was also the goal an long term care insurance company gave me to issue a policy, so I am going feel better being secure in my finances too.    So many little things, some very personal, I forgot I gave up as I put on the pounds.  Airline seat was actually fun.  I can walk a mile without killing myself.  My feet are fitting in old shoes that I love.  And no need for the little blue pill anymore.

I have mixed loyalties.  A Browns season ticket holder because of my wife's addiction to that train wreck, and a Saints Fan from NOLA.  Oh, and more importantly than this NFL crap, GO IRISH!

Have a great week, all.

I'm a little late this week. We took a weekend trip to NYC and I was stuck in Laguardia last night.

Wooohooo! I hit a 200+ pound total loss. Plus, a 3 pound loss for the week is huge. I walked over 32 miles this weekend playing tourist. It's a good thing, because I had more sweets than I ever do. Little bites here and there, but I was worried it would add up. Thankfully staying active, I worked it all off right as I ate it. :)

I have my follow up with the surgeon this week. My labs were done last week and all look. To me, at least. Let's see what he says. I'm confident it will be a great appointment. 200 pounds in 11 months!

Have a great week everyone!

200 pound loss = "big, ol' nasty stinky" on the FART scale.  Great Job!
