I'm pretty happy that I made it through last week pretty much status quo. I was at a technical conference in Vail and the food choices were less than stellar. Although I generally don't drink, I did partake a little in some wine also. Ughh. To make matters worse, late nights and early mornings made working out difficult (I only got to the gym once). Maybe the alttitude helped me burn some calories, or maybe I'll catch up this week. In any case, I'll take it. By the way, working out at 9000' is a ***** compared to sea level. Just sayin.
Gone all week again starting tomorrow, but in Tampa I have a lot of seafood options so I should be OK foodwise. Also, I'll be with a salesman who's a workout warrior, so I should do better at the gym.
Its been great seeing some new folks posting on the men's board these past couple of weeks. Welcome to our little group.
Have a great week all.
John
Last week: 173.2

Still below "red line" so not complaint with digits.
Happy Ice Cream Day!! Ice cream is like Brylcreem - "little dab will do ya". Gives me a nice carb coma.
Getting back in groove of treadmilling again. Distance and speed not where I was but working on it.
Used new push mower again. Did not leak a drop. WTH. Kubota on other hand leaked out a BUNCH of oil. Thought I had oil filter on right - WRONG!! Paid to go get a decent oil filter wrench and tighten the crap out of it. Did good after that.
The BIG ONE: We have a court date! August 24th!
Go Do Your Thing!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Nice week john! I want to try training at 9000 feet someday. I need to get to the point where it is easy At 200 feet above sea level.

This week I’m status quo overall but down 1 lb muscle mass. I made it to the gym 4 days this past week for cardio and strength training. I did ok mindfully eating. Protein was good and water ok.
We are definitely in the “dog days of summer”; so be sure and increase your water intake.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

Hey guys! I've been AWOL for a while, but things are slowing down, so I plan to be back on here more. In the time that I've been gone, the big reason was our Florida vacation. We drove from Michigan to Orlando, stayed down there for two weeks, and then came back. It was really cool. We took our 6 year old daughter to Disney for the first time! It was also my first time, my wife's first time, my brother and sister in laws first time, and my niece's first time. It was really awesome. I have to say, doing it this year after losing 145 lbs was amazing! I didn't have to worry about fitting in any rides, I was able to walk all day just fine, and even though it was 99 and full sun all day, I sweated a lot less than I would've.
I came back worrying about what the scale would say, but I was actually down to 203.9. I bounced back up a little since getting back, but I'm still a little lighter compared to pre-vacation, so I'll take it.
Now I have a couple of free weeks before I start back to work at the beginning of August. I'll be finishing up my grad classes over these two weeks, and then I'll be back working on yearbook stuff and getting ready for the start of the new school year. We technically don't have to report bac****il August 29th, but I have way too much to do to wait that long.
Have a great week everyone!
