My first oops!
17 days out from surgery on Stage 3 and my dinner tonight was some pureed refried beans, a little ricotta cheese, applesauce and some mashed sweet potatoes. Had 10-15 bites a little too fast and now what I would call my stomach yelling at me.... a little of the food trying to come up, no vomiting but it sure feels like I could.
Didn't really eat that much, but obviously my speed with the pureed food got me. A learning experience for sure. I probably didn't get a 1/2 cup in. Ahhh, my learning curve.

hey I know the feeling . when I get full I get what some call foaming , its when you eat to muchand you start to foam ,I spit the foam out and the vomited the shrimp and steak and cheese. I feel that it is ease for me to vomit. this has happened twice .I had surgery on june 24th and so far I have lost 30 lbs
I hadn't had any problems with vomiting or foamies for the first 8 months after surgery. I got ****y, figuring I had nothing to worry about. Then, I had some roast beef, very thinly sliced, very moist, and I ate too fast. After about 10 minutes I felt horrible, and it eventually came back up. It was the last thing I expected to get stuck and cause me to vomit. But I have to admit, it was a good reminder to keep things slow.
