On one hand last week was awesome in that my workload was light, the weather was fantastic and I really didn't have any responsibilities. One the other hand, on several days my diet went to crap. Its a little cliche' the statement that the surgery works on your guts not your head. Last week that was absolutely true for me. That's not to say that every day was a bad one, I was able to temper the bad days with some pretty good ones. This week I will focus on having more good days. On a positive note, I did get to the gym regularly and got all my vitamins and calcium in so there is that.
No travel again this week (third in a row). I'm finding that being home is tougher then traveling because there is food around all the time. Also, I have to get my wife on board with eating differently. She's trying, but only minimally. Traveling puts me in a better environment for sucess because I can control my surroundings better.
I will be traveling early sunday morning next week, so someone else will have to get this party started. I hope you all have a great week.

Well I bought 2 new dress shirts and pants. I need more everyday clothes and dress clothes. I don't want to waste cash but I most likely will buy a few more here and there. I guess this is a good problem.
John I here you on being around the house and the food being everywhere. I am still lucky that my restriction keeps stuff in check as I'm afraid to eat crap still. I have found eating leftover chicken breast and pork impossible. So I'm have been eating steak and fish a lot.
I had to do a lot of laundry as I was losing. I think I went through 3 or 4 iterations of business clothes while I was losing. I hated the loose fitting stuff. I had to replace my entire wardrobe after I felt like I had reached the end, which was crazy expensive. Be prepared to replace everthing including underwear and shoes.
Well I just went to men's warehouse and if you donate a gently use sport coat or suit. They will give you a coupon for 50% off of you complete order. Excluding their top of the line suits and nice shoes. I was able to get 2 pairs of paints and 4 shirts at half price. Good deal.i will post some pics in my profile

Changing a partners eating habits is not easy and it has been my experience that the worser of the two evils will prevail. Even though X2 and I were both RNY's she ate a different menu than I did. I could keep it to protein and a veggie and she was a bread and pasta person. Not saying I don't touch the stuff but there was not squat on the menu at Olive Garden that I would eat other than the fried cheese sticks. That wasn't a good choice but it had some protein. Had mom/pop Italian shop near her house that had alacart meatballs. Problem solved. Only meal with truly shared was at Outback other wise separate entrees everywhere we went. Pissed away money and food.
Speaking of "******g" and X2 got new version of final decree Thursday afternoon at 4:10 PM in my email. Only tweak was asking for her name to revert back to her maiden name. Hopefully get a final date this week.
Other news: Bought a new treadmill and push lawn mower. Treadmill is a Proform and new mower is a Craftsman that was returned to the store within 30 days of purchase. Still gave them what the wanted on mower but they threw in a three year maintenance agreement gratis. Was not in a pickup truck so letting them deliver this week. Saved $50 by waiting till they could put both on same delivery. Laptop is next.
Go do your thing!
