Woops!!
I spent last week at a national sales meeting for four days, even though I'm not in sales :). During the meeting, we listened to a video on leadership, and one of the points the speaker made was that when a company gets too comfortable, they get complacent. It didn't really hit me until I was at the break munching on some crap, and I realized I had gotten comfortable with my diet, and now look at what was happening. The results above prove my point.
Time to start applying pressure to myself again. Time to realize, there is no getting comfortable with my eating and that I need to change permemently.
On a positive note, the vitamins and excersize this last week were stellar, so there is that.
These next few weeks should be better.
Have a great week everyone.

Well, all my clothes are falling off of me and I have just put 5th new hole in my belt. Even my smaller dress shirts float on me. Lucky I wear scrubs all day. I am going this week to get at least 2 pairs of dress pants. I've looked at thrift stores but I haven't found any 44waist 34 length. I think that's wear I am anyway. I was a 50 waist. And the 20 and 22 inch neck shirts are out. I have 39/40 arms so I need to order a few 18 maybe?
John,
It is hard being around crappy food choices, I ordered Chinese food for the family and got myself curry chicken and just weighed out 4 oz. And had it for like 3 meals the last two days. I think the sodium is making me hold water.
This surgery has really made me understand that what you eat is 90% of weight loss. I would do an hour on the eliptical machine and work out for an hour and never really monitor my portions and just got bigger and stronger. Now I don't even work out and weigh everything and I am loosing. I always thought I had some kind of metabolism issue. But if you eat 2 to 3 lbs of chicken or salmon for a snack...I was never going to loose weight.
I'm glad that you heard a good message in the sales meeting and are taking to heart. Good luck on the road .
We have a pasture that is susceptible to flooding because it is part bottom land. At best 40 acres of it was flooded. Most local impact comes from the water coming over the "low" (old) side of the divided highway between us and the next town to the east. For the first time since 1990, when it flooded this bad if not worse, TXDOT has put two-way traffic on the "high" (newer) side which is 10-12 higher than the other.

Eating: The Struggle is REAL...Bottom line too many mindless meals/snacks and need this to change starting TODAY...It is so easy to make excuses like I am busy, kids have activities, bla, bla, bla in the end I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT I PUT IN MY MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!
Vitamins: Taking all required vitamins to include Multi vitamins, Iron, B12, and Calcium and now some D
Water: OK, could always be better
Exercise: Pretty good week, worked out 6/7 days...excited as I am training to do a Triathaoln in July!!
Have a great week

WOW! 5.8 pounds this week. Wooohoo! I upped the water and the exercise and it paid off. Despite 3 long nights in a row (only about 2 hours of sleep each of those nights), this week is the best week I've felt physically. I feel stronger and more "normal". I don't know how to actually get across what I'm trying to say; I guess I don't feel "fat" for once in my life. I fit into tables and chairs and busses and the train, etc. I guess I just feel "normal" for once.
Hoping for another amazing week! To you guys as well.
