Memorial Day Weigh In
Well I have been missing for a while, just finished up a string of 3 fishing trip weekends in a row. Had a blast, limited out on walleye on Erie (new personal best of 29" also) and had a great time up in Northern Wisconsin for our annual fishing trip up there. Didn't stray into foods I shouldn't too bad at all, especially considering that food and booze are a focal point to these trips. I got all my 100oz of water in each day, all vitamins and 2 protein shakes. Dinners were burgers (bunless for me, and only about 3/4 of a small one), brats and hotdogs and we smoked a pork shoulder overnight for dinner which came out incredible, without BBQ sauce of course. The only things I had that I wavered on was a few chips and queso dip one day after a ham roll up for lunch and a 1/2 slice of home made banana bread one of the guys made. Otherwise I was far more comfortable doing what I needed to do to stay to plan than I anticipated. Plus I lost another 9lbs or so during the 3 week span with the trips in there.
Pre-op diet start weight: 311
Surgery weight :299
Last week: 251
This week: 248
I need to concentrate more on my exercise levels. I told myself I was going to weight train during this and step up my bike/running routine to keep the furnace burning, but the motivation has been lacking because the weight keeps flying off. I also started my new job a month or so ago so I am adjusting to that schedule, but soon I need to ramp things up so I can get to where I need to be. An extreme goal I have set for myself is to be at my goal weight of 200lbs come our Canada fishing trip in the middle of September, That would mean a 10lb loss average per month until then, so considering things are bound to slow up soon for the weight loss I am hoping I can work hard and get as close as possible.
Have a good week guys!
