Sunday Weigh In
Good afternoon Men!
I have no idea what my weight is... Been really sick with a horrific cough which is always a nice jolt to my personal post-op universe. But Wednesday, I was down 30 lbs from the start of my journey. I think the doc will let me go back to work either later this week or, most likely, Monday the 18th.
It's gonna be a great week!
@John, fear of change, fear of failure, and even fear of success can keep us from doing what should be done. I struggle every day with it.
@Eric, good luck at work tomorrow.
@Nate, good luck with the presentation!
@Don, awesome!
@Tom, take care to drink plenty of water. Dehydration is a danger this close to post-op and being sick.

After no change last week, it's good to see it go down this week. I was actually down to about 215 earlier this week, but it bounced back up some obviously. My eating is not bad, but not quite as strict as it was before. And I also had another two week absence from the gym. Thankfully, my busy time of the year ends in a week or so, so I should be able to get back into my 5-6 day a week routine.
I was at the Tigers game last night, and that was fun and tough at the same time. It was great to walk up the ramp, climb all the stairs, and not be winded in the least. It was also great to fit in the seat. But my tailbone hurts today! No more padding! And it was tough being around all the ballpark food and not having the "good" stuff. But I did have some popcorn and peanuts. Not the best stuff, but it could've been a lot worse.
Have a great week everyone
