Three pounds to goal

This morning I weighed in at 198 and goal is 195. I feel so. Much better since loosing the weight and my confidence level has gone up. We just had our company annual conference. Last year I was 300 pounds. There were many NSV's during the conference. Clients kept on asking the team if I was coming to the conference. I went to speak with a long time client and she talked with me and introduced me to her boss. Later on that day she came to me and said she did not know who I was and acted to know me to not be embarrassed. That made my day. I purchased some running shirts and cam home with larges and I was swimming in them. Had to get mediums. That was awesome. I think I may be at my waist size which is 34 a 36 depending on the cut. Shirts are large or mediums depending on the brand. I started at a waist size of 48 at my highest. This has been and will be a great journey to a new chapter of my life.

Wow, great job. You've done really well for only having surgery in October. I agree that its fun when people don't recognize you. With work friends, I have a good time with it.

Have you been working out as well?

Thanks. I walk daily but have not been doing any weight training. I started going to a crossfit type gym and hurt my back doing sit-ups and actually fractured a vertebrae. Not real serious and getting better. I am joining a gym soon and start weight training. I have not made weight training a priority but now that I am close to goal I will be making it a priority.

Nice nasty, stinky on ye ol' FART scale!  One of my favorite post "didn't recognize you" moments came when the local Sheriff did not recognize me and introduced himself to me the last time I applied there! I'd know the guy nearly 15 years. Second best one was the former "client" who commented that I had lost my "intimidation factor" when I lost my weight.
