I have a question to ask

The question I want to ask is this:  Since the STBX has sent her treadmill back to Conroe I went looking yesterday and was perplexed on what I was seeing.  Treadmills, recumbent bikes, stair machines etc.  If you could buy one to use at home which way would you choose?

I've been thinking a lot about that as well. I think that if I bought one piece of equipment, it may be a rowing machine. It gives both a good cardio workout, with some strength and core training. Its also a little less expensive than a high quality eliptical/treadmill.

If I had a lot of money, I would like one of these as well.

I agree, if I were buying one machine to use at home, it would be a rowing machine.  They definitely give the best overall workout.

Agree. With the rowing machine. Second choice the elliptical as its forgiving in the knees.

Cheap cheap cheap guy here.  The cheapest way to go would be to grab all your old VCR/DVD exercise tapes (in which you [and I] had the greatest of intentions to get in shape).  Along with the videos you have 100's of workout programs on Youtube.  You can get 2-5 pound weights and run with it if you wanted to.  Cheap mans workout...

Might have to explain to some of the youngsters what a "VCR" is!

The only thing I would invest in Home wise would be the Dreadmill mill.  But you know me and the life I live.  But it really depends on the goal. Obviously if you want over all cardio a TM will be the best but if you looking to add lean muscle mass it won't do much.
