Hey all!

im home (finally)! Had to stay en extra night. Doc was monitiring dmy red blood count and making sure i wasnt bleeding internally.

so far so good. No nauesea, no pain that I cant handle. Just re-learning everything, which is hard for an old man. Grateful for this opportunity and looking forward to each new phase as I figure it out.

Thanks for your advice!

Hey All, tomorrow begins week three post op. Feeling good. Finally got the bowels working! Praise the Lord!!!

what were your favorite foods on the soft/mush stage. My nutritionist says egg salad, oatmeal, etc. any ideas along those lines or in that phase that you tolerated well?

Great to hear. I'm one week post on and trying to get the bowels to do something, still some cramping/pressure. I am also curious what the guys found as their "go to" for the different stages. I am on clear liquids still but meet with nutritionist tomorrow, hoping to start full liquids then soft foods 2 weeks from there.
