A great week! I knew I'd put up a good number, mostly because I've been busting my ass! It's been a reprieve of winter here in Chicago and we've had some 30s and 40s and I've been outside almost everyday. I pushed myself as hard as I have since I was a kid yesterday in running nearly 4.5 miles (I could only squeeze out 4.47 but I'll round up gladly!). I feel a little sore today in my hips and feet, but it's worth it. I've also been really focussed on fluids and upping my water especially in the morning.

My birthday is in 2 weeks (Super Bowl Sunday) and my motivation is to get 330 by then. I think it's too ambitious in reality, but I'm working towards it and hopefully I get close. I'm turning 40 and I'd love to be close or at 330 as a present to myself.

Speaking of Super Bowl... I'm leaning towards Indy and Seattle today. I'm not a GB fan at all and tired of New England (also being a Dolphins fan I can't want NE to win).

Have a great week everyone!

110# is fantastic, congratulations. Keep up the good work! I've never been able to wrap my head around running, I'm thinking of buying a compression shirt and giving it a whirl this summer. Too damn cold in Mn this time of year, and I would be a fair weather runner.

Best of luck reaching your goal for your birthday. I certainly hope you get there. Looks to me like you ahve already given yourself the gift of life, which is a pretty cool gift itself.

@John, good luck in Beaumont.

@wcdaniels, good progress; keep it up!

@Bil Mac, so sorry for you loss.  Hoping that you get back on track soon.

@Don, agree that Pats take it all the way.

@SUMO96, congrats on breaking 300!

@NateH, progress to a goal is as important as the goal itself!  Good luck!

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392.0 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09:  377.5 lbs
      1st Surgiversary:  241.0 lbs
      2nd Surgiversary:  212.5 lbs
      3rd Surgiversary:  217.0 lbs
      4th Surgiversary:  214.0 lbs
      5th Surgiversary:  223.0 lbs
             Last week:  223.0 lbs / 22.8% body fat / 163.6 lbs muscle mass
             This week:  226.2 lbs / 21.7% body fat / 168.4 lbs muscle mass

Over the past week I’m up 3.2 lbs overall and up 4.8 lbs muscle mass.  I made it to the hotel fitness center on 3 days this past week and just so-so mindfully eating.  My body water % and muscle mass are both up by 2% this week.

I’m back home this week and getting back into my routine.  The weather is looking nice this week so hopefully some outdoor activity is in store.

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

-Mike
