Last week was a pretty tough one after a death march through Indiana and rural Texas, but I'm definitly happy with the result. Struggled on both the eating and excersize fronts. Looking at the rest of the year, my travel should slow down a little allowing me to get back into a proper eating and excersize routine. Going to Chicago this week for three days, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to stay on track much better from both an excersize and eating front. Its taking a long time to get to the point where I can get rid of that 2 in front of my weight, but it will get done!!!!
Michigan let me down yesterday in a big way. Another nail in Brady Hoke's job coffin. I think all he needs to do is lose to Ohio State, and we can start the search for our next coach. It's sad to see the Michigan football program perform as poorly as they have for so many years. There is really no competition from any Big 10 team compared to the SEC.
It feels strange getting coffee and breakfast ready to watch the Lions (against Atlanta) at 8:30 central time. Its just not natural. Anyway, I'm hopful the Lions can finish the weekend on a high note for me.
I hope everyone has a happy and safe week.
John

Well, slight uptick in scale :( still, OVERALL did better in terms of eating but as usual trying for BALANCE...so elusive!! Starts today and overall ok day.
In terms of water and vitamins, the vitamins I take are appropriate. I struggle with water and need to improve on it. I am only getting in 2-3 glasses a day, clearly not enough! Again BALANCE is the goal and already have 4 glasses today!
Last in terms of exercise. Overall, this is the best part of my maintenance. For example, today ran my 3rd 10K. Finished in 56:12 for a 9:05 minute pace, good for 6th in my Division and 75th out of 130 runners. Nothing earth shattering but a huge NSV for me!!
Pats won against Da Bears now it is the game of the year...Pats v Broncos!!!
Have a great week!!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
@John, thanks for leading off in Don’s absence. Congrats to the Lions on the W today.
@Bill Mac, nice FART!

2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
5th Surgiversary: 223.0 lbs
Last week: 224.2 lbs / 22.2% body fat / 165.8 lbs muscle mass
This week: 224.4 lbs / 22.4% body fat / 165.6 lbs muscle mass
Pretty much status quo on the lbs overall and muscle mass. On the road this past week I made it to the hotel gym for three light cardio (30 min on the treadmill) workouts and did ok mindfully eating. On the road again this week, so I gotta continue to be vigilant.
Alabama beat my Vols yesterday 34-20, but they did better than with Ole Miss. Next week is South Carolina in Columbia. The Falcons lost a close one to the Lions in London today.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!
-Mike

Thanks for holding down the fort this week John.
M-State made it past Kentucky and this week it is Hog meat from Arkansas. Don't know how much of it I'll watch but Dallas plays the politically incorrect Washington DC franchise this evening. Lest I forget kudos to LSU for beating Ol' Miss.
