Last week:  177.0

This week:  177.2

What a day in college football yesterday!  M-State knocking off the Aggies, Ol' Miss taking out Alafrickinbama, Oregon losing to Arizona, the Frogs hopping over the Sooners and Utah squeaking past UCLA.  Rankings will be fun to see this week.  Sorry about your Vols Mike.

Texans in Dallas to play the Cowboys.  Seen some jokes going around with pictures of Texan fans in hazmat suits coming to town for the game.  Punch line being reference to the Ebola case in Dallas.  Local media staying on that story like dots on dice!  Serious situation yes, but Information overload!

Lots of walking but scales not moving back down.  Muscle build up?  Eating bad?  Be on treadmill while watching game today.

Remember this is a marathon - not a sprint!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Tough week.....I was traveling with a new sales manager and new salesman, who both like to eat in sports bars. Crappy food all week. I tried controling portions, but I think between the added fat and sodium, combined with less water and little excersize lifestyle caught up with me. This week I'm on my own, and I'm already catching up on excersize and eating better. Here's to a better result next week.

Michigan took another body blow yesterday. All I can say is that according to Jay Glazer, Harbaugh is out in San Fransisco. Maybe Michigans coach in waiting ??

Take care guys, and have a healthy, happy and safe week!!

@Don, Miss State and Ole Miss are definitely causing the prognosticators to be all over the map!

@John, you know it – the high-fat, high-sodium food is almost as bad as the high-carb stuff.  When eating out with colleagues on the road who insist on eating pub grub, I try to limit my meal to a chicken wing or shrimp appetizer.  Though usually fried and full of sodium, at least a smaller portion especially if I get them to eat a couple.

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392.0 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09:  377.5 lbs
      1st Surgiversary:  241.0 lbs
      2nd Surgiversary:  212.5 lbs
      3rd Surgiversary:  217.0 lbs
      4th Surgiversary:  214.0 lbs
      5th Surgiversary:  223.0 lbs
Last week:  223.4 lbs / 22.2% body fat / 165.2 lbs muscle mass
This week:  224.8 lbs / 22.2% body fat / 166.4 lbs muscle mass

I’m up 1.4 lbs overall and up 1.2 lbs muscle mass.  This past week I made it to the gym for three light cardio (30 min on the treadmill) workouts and one light strength (30 min upper body) workout.  The bad hip still limits my workouts but at least I can workout now and be able to get out of bed the next morning.  I did ok this week mindfully eating.

My Vols lost yesterday to Florida, 10-9, with Florida scoring a TD and FG in the 4th quarter.  Chattanooga comes to Knoxville next Saturday.  Maybe we’ll have one in the W column then.  Ole Miss whooped up on Alabama in the 4th quarter for the win.  The Falcons lost another one in the 4th quarter to the Giants today.  If only the game was 3 quarters long, then we’d be 4-1 instead of 2-3.  But, then, if a frog had wings, it wouldn’t slam its a$$ every time it jumped.

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

-Mike
