Sunday Weigh In
Last week: 176.8
This week: 177.0
Two lousy pounds over the red line still. Nerts.
Good News on home front! DW is going back to work Tuesday! It's a clinic gig about 20 miles from the house and she seems to like the people she'll be working with. Pay is topped out LVN money and not RN money but it is a gig and she is happy, happy, happy to be going back to work. Me too.
Sorry about your Vols Mike. Notice LSU beat up on New Mexico State by 50+ points. Cowboys don't play till this evening which is okay by me since I'm working today.
Have a Great Week!

It's been a while since I checked in. I've traveled every freakin weekend these last three weeks. I'm leaving again tomorrow morning for four days. The scale is going in the right direction, and I know that I am getting closer and closer to my goal, so it will take time. My stated goal is now less than 24 pounds away, and my personal goal is about 27 pounds away. Excersize is good, vitamins are good, eating is good until my nighttime demons come around. We are in an epic battle right now :).
My heart just isn't in the college football season this year. I have no idea what's happening to my Wolverines. I'm worried we picked the wrong coach a few years ago. The Lions have been coming through though, and I was pretty excited to watch them beat the hated Packers last weekend. Up next....the Jets.
Take care everyone, and have a great week!!

Last few weeks did not check in. Sometimes I just want to stop having to work at my weight. As such stopped exercising, eating right and vitamins. This lasted a week and I gained 6 pounds and felt like HELL!! Since, I have gone back to mindful eating, exercising, and taking my vitamins and down about 4 pounds. More important, learned that I need to take this a day at a time!!
So over the last week, Tracking my food, better water intake and vitamins as recommended. Exercise included boxing, spin, and running. Further, went Kayaking yesterday for the first time ever, it was great.
Some yard work and rest today...have a great week!!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
@Don, happy wife, happy life!
@John, good job!
@Bill Mac, way to get back up on the horse! Like you said, you “need take this a day at a time”.
My stats this week:
High weight: 392.0 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
1st Surgiversary: 241.0 lbs
2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
5th Surgiversary: 223.0 lbs
Last week: 224.0 lbs / 22.7% body fat / 164.8 lbs muscle mass
This week: 223.4 lbs / 22.2% body fat / 165.2 lbs muscle mass
I’m down 0.6 lbs overall and up 0.4 lbs muscle mass. The bad hip on the road didn’t hurt nearly as much as the week before. So, I made it to the hotel fitness center on two days for 30 minutes on the treadmill. I did better this week mindfully eating too. I’m home for three weeks; so, maybe I can get back into my normal routine.
My Vols lost a nail-biter yesterday to Georgia, 35-32. Florida comes to Knoxville next Saturday. Hopefully, the QB Worley can stay healthy and serve up some BBQ Gator. Vikings are beating up on the Falcons and lead 24-14 at the half. The Falcons defense just cannot stop the Vikings offense with RB McKinnon from Georgia Southern and WR Wright from Arkansas.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!
-Mike
