Labor Day Weekend Weigh - In
Last week: 175.8
This week: 176.4
Digits no bueno. I have upped the mileage the last couple of times on the contraption so maybe a little muscle build up in the legs is the culprit.
College football season is upon us once again and hope your team(s) did well. Despite the dissolution of the previous relationship still following Mississippi State. They beat up on Southern Mississippi. LSU, Alabama and Florida State all won. Lest I for get those lovable Aggies from Texas A&M. New championship format in place should make end of the year interesting.
Yours truly did trade out on weekends since I need next weekend open to be "grandpa". Will be off Monday for a change too. Don't normally catch the Monday holidays. Labor Day being the "official" end of what I like to call the "Silly" season. Good traffic working weekend.
Happy Labor Day and Have a Great Week Gents!
ETA: Change picture and adjust for the morning business.
Not a great week this week for me. I have been up and down all week. Yesterday was a bad day food wise (probably the worst since surgery and I know it is stress related). I need to get back to the basics and plan out my eating I am still dropping weight but I know I am not doing what I should be. Knowing that is a long hall I need to step back and get back to doing what I was doing the month after surgery and get the good habits going again.
When I had the surgery I booked a vacation for the end of September to go to Florida. My hopes were always to be under 200 for this trip yet I always felt it not realistic in 6 months. Now I am 4 weeks away and 12 pounds away from that goal I realize it will be hard to accomplish but it is possible
Happy Labor Day and have a great week everyone

OK, so it's not exactly a stall, its still pretty slow movement. I suppose that's to be expected as I get closer to my goal. This past week, I was able to eat mindfully most of the time, and I was able to get a couple good workouts in. I have had my kids/grandkids in town for the last 2 1/2 weeks, and they go home tomorrow. Its very sad to see them go, but from a weight loss standpoint I can get back into a good routine again.
Its sad to feel the summer slipping through my hands, I just nee dto remind myself that the weather can still be nice in September and October.
@Don - Muscle is a good thing. Also, I'm happy football season is here. I had a great day watching Michigan excorsize demons with Appalachian State, and now I get to be dissapointed by my Lions yet another year.
@Kevin - I've been watching your weight loss with amazememt. Its probably normal to have that process slow down after such good results. You're doing fantastic
Have a happy and safe holiday and week everyone
@Don, don’t forget Georgia beat Clemson. My Vols open against Utah State tonight.
@Kevin, focus on the accomplishments - 108 lbs in 5 months is awesome! As you know this journey is a lifetime marathon not a 6 month sprint!
@John, keep the needle moving in the right direction!

This week: 222.4 lbs / 22.0% body fat / 164.8 lbs muscle mass
I’m down 1 lb overall and up 0.4 lbs muscle mass. Still crippled in my lower back and hip, I did 3 light cardio workouts this past week. I did pretty well mindfully eating.
I’ve self-diagnosed bursitis of the hip joint which will take some time to heal. Getting old sucks!
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!
