Pre Labor Day Weekend Sunday Weigh In
Last week: 175.0
This week: 175.8
Nothing exciting from here. Triple digit heat, no rain, my Chief is breathing a sigh of relief that I'm not leaving him since I got shot down for job I interviewed for last week. DW and I have fingers crossed she lands the one at the women's clinic she where interviewed. It is an identical to the situation that she had in Conroe. Only kicker is 105 mile daily round trip. Looking at efficiency housing as alternative.
On WLS front did better on the walking this week. Mowed yesterday. Feeling it.
Have a Great Week and enjoy your upcoming Labor Day Weekend!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
337.6: High weight Dec '13

180.0: Goal weight
Well I am going back in the right direction, but looking back at the past few weeks, I am in a stall right now. With this being the last unofficial week of summer, and with out of town guests, I may find it hard to stay on track. I have to be mindful for sure. Since I am not traveling, I will get daily workouts in, but the area I need to watch is eating.
Have a great week everyone.
@Don, definitely not complaining but first couple of days of 100°F heat here this summer.
@John, looks like you’re coming out of the stall. Also, the closer you get to your maintenance weight the slower your loss rate.
@Brian, know what you mean about the gravitational pull of the pantry!
My stats this week:
High weight: 392.0 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
1st Surgiversary: 241.0 lbs
2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
5th Surgiversary: 223.0 lbs
Last week: 223.0 lbs / 21.8% body fat / 166.0 lbs muscle mass
This week: 223.4 lbs / 22.6% body fat / 164.4 lbs muscle mass
I’m pretty much status quo overall but down another 1.6 lbs muscle mass. I was on the road this past week and pulled a muscle in my lower back. So I couldn’t work out any this past week which is probably why my muscle mass is down. I did well mindfully eating.
Back home this week, I hope that my back will cooperate and I will be able to get back into my regular routine.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!
-Mike

Have not posted here since back at the end of June/July. Summer has been VERY busy with work and family.
Still, I love OH, particularly this forum as it is generally the only one I post to and peruse through.
Weight Loss Surgery is without question a journey. Being almost 4 years out, there are good and bad decisions I make daily in maintenance.
The Good:
Water Intake; Vitamins; OFTEN mindful and healthy choices; Exercise regularly
The Bad:
Too much coffee; More often than I want of poor choices in diet; Obsessing over the number on the scale; Maniacal about exercise
Still...if I had to choose I would take this journey any time!! As an example just went on family vacation to CA for a week. Made some good/poor choices in diet and exercise but left weighing 206 and came home at 204!!!
Have a great week fellas!!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
