This week:  175.0

On the red line but I can live with it.  Little more concerted effort on getting the treadmill time in this past week. 

Yesterday was yard work day.  Playing with the sprinkler system today.  Have a couple of heads to replace.  Front porch does not need watering.  It is well fed so has limited capacity time wise but it is certainly less expensive than watering with metered water.  Trying to make life easier for the armadillo(s) that likes to root in my yard....till I shoot their a$$!  S/he may aerate the soil but tears up the grass in the process and makes the ground rough to walk on.

Armadillos - Aren't those high in protein?  

I finally got back on track after putting several pounds back on over the last month.  I have been keeping very active, but had been hitting the candy very hard and the scale showed it.  Spending a week at scout camp with my boys was not helpful either, considering the stuff they fed us was all carbs and fat.

 

I went golfing yesterday and tried my new golf shirt, which is an XL and it was very loose.  That made me feel pretty good since last summer I was wearing 3XL shirts.

I had a decent week this week. Did not get in as much exercise as I would have liked (got called back to the office while out on my walk 3 times this week). Went for a hike this morning which is a hike I could not make last fall.  Realizing how easy of a hike it really was and the fact that I had so much trouble last fall is kind of scary and great all at the same time.

@Don, no armadillos here but chipmunks and moles are a problem – and no they don’t taste like chicken!

@Mike, awesome!  Only by looking back can we get perspective in going forward.

             This week:  223.0 lbs / 21.8% body fat / 166.0 lbs muscle mass

I’m down 2 lbs overall and 1.6 lbs down on muscle mass.  Being on the road, I made it to the gym on 3 days (2 days cardio & 1 day Physioslow strength).  I did ok mindfully eating and made good choices except for a couple of meals – damn those doughnuts and bagels.

I will be on the road again this week so I will have to face those exercise and food choice challenges.

Even on a RNY pouch you'd still have to eat half dozen chipmunks to make a meal! 

Best part of a mole is it's ass.  As in "mole - asses".  (rim shot)

Woops, that didn't go well. I was only able to get to the gym a couple times last week, and I know my eating could have been much better. When I look at my weight over time, I am definitly in another stall. Starting last Satruday, I've been more mindful of what I am eating. Excersize has been tough, but I am getting some walking in. I'll get a good workout in today, and then I'm in Tampa all week. I should get my eating back on track.

In the meantime, two of my kids are spending thier summer vacation with us in Mn with the grandkids. It does make it tough to get to the gym while I'm home. Seeing the grandkids and spending time with them is a pretty good consolation prize though.
