Happy Father's Day to the Fathers among us. If like me your Father has passed remember him well. My Dad's birthday was June 19th so over the years we caught some "triples" where we had his birthday, Father's day and Juneteenth all rolled into one. Juneteenth is reference to June 19, 1865 when the slaves in Texas heard about the Emancipation Proclamation 2.5 years after it was originally issued. He would have turned 80 this year.
Celebrating Father's Day by making a coffee and Sam's run. DW is still gone so still fending for myself. Doing nicely but the cupboard is emptying and needs a refill. Have a roast to start in crockpot before I take off for Tyler. Made arrangements for a little help on the inside of the house before she gets back. Can grow carrots in the dust under the TV.
Again Happy Father's Day and Have a Great Week!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Happy fathers day to all here. Since all my family lives away from us. I'm sure the day will be filled with phone calls. So I'll spend the morning taking care of myself at the gym, and then with all the crappy weather not sure how I'll spend the afternoon.
I got off to a great start last week, then my progress slowed down considerably. I made it to the gym, or my trainer, 5 times but I am snacking too much at night. I'm racking my brain tryong to figure out what I need and why I need it, but I'm still largely unsuccessful.
This coming week, I'll be in the office with out of town visitor through Wednesday, then I'll be in Jacksonville Florida the later half of the week. I thnk I'll be able to get some good workouts in, so I'm hopeful for good weight loss results.
I hope all you dad's have a great day, and everyone has a successful week.
Happy Father’s Day gentlemen!
@Don, lost my Dad 14 years ago and still miss him every day.
@John, nighttime snacking is my nemesis as well.

Three weeks of vacation, work trip, and sick days – if I had to be sick, at least I made it home to be in my own bed. This week I’m down 1.8 lbs overall with 2.2 lbs decreased muscle mass. I made it to the gym on 4 days (3 days cardio & 1 day Physioslow strength). I should be back in my routine for the next few weeks.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

Happy belated Fathers Day everyone. We just returned from a cold and wet camping trip on Minnesota's north shore. I was able to get in lots of hiking and even managed to climb Eagle Mountain, which is the highest elevation in Minnesota at 2300 feet ASL. Not a real mountain by any means, but it was a fun 2 hour hike getting there and about 1.5 hours getting back. I was amazed at how easy it was without that extra 100 pounds to drag along. Friends kept asking me if I could have made the climb a year ago and although I would have been able to do it, it would have been much more difficult and would have required a few stops along the way.
Have another great week everyone.
