3 month follow up

So I had my 3 month follow up yesterday. By the scale at the doctors office I am down 85 lbs with a loss of 25% of my weight and 49% of Excess weight. These numbers are from my first appointment with them on 12/2. I went from a BMI of 52.2 down to 39.3. The doctor was pleased with the results. I have been pulled off of my blood pressure meds and I am maitaining blood pressure of 128/83 with no meds (was 157/130 non medicated previously).I know without surgery I never would have accomplished the weight loss or getting of the blood pressure meds and have no regrets at this point. 

That's fantastic news, congratulations. In my humble opiion, the weight loss is a happy consequence to the health benefits we see from taking control of our lives. Well Done!!

Congratulations on everything! The weight loss, the better health, getting off the meds and the fact that you have no regrets. So many of us are right there with you. 

My only regret was not having the surgery 25 years earlier.
