405 ==> Highest Weight  (7/19/2013) and start of program

352 ==> Weight on the day of surgery  (53 pounds lost pre-op)  (12/27/2013)

282 ==> Last week

281 ==> This week

Down 1 pound, better than up.  Didn't get as much exercise due to some shin splints from last weeks 2 mile run.  But yesterday I did 2.4 miles running and .7 walking in 40 minutes which is a great time for me.  Still preparing for a 5k in the summer/fall.  Checked my diet and protein looks really good over time, but I noticed calories and fat creeping up a bit.  Still doing great with carbs.  I'll cut some portions this week to see if that makes a difference, but I'm with you Bill - a pound is a pound and better than going up.  I'm getting close to cracking the 30% body fat measure - seeing that below 30 will be my next big FART.

My brother shared a video from sportscenter with me - amazing, and I will not be complaining about anything any time soon:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2Xg-izlI7k

Have a great week everyone.

@Don, low iron can definitely affect your stamina.  Good luck with the OTC!

@Kevin, my surgeon had the same program plan though cautioned to get at least 40 gm protein per day to avoid neurological issues.

@Bill Mac, a lb is defintely a lb no matter how you measure it!

@John, way to go!  Nice FART!

@RNYGuyPA, good job!

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392.0 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09:  377.5 lbs
      1st Surgiversary:  241.0 lbs
      2nd Surgiversary:  212.5 lbs
      3rd Surgiversary:  217.0 lbs
      4th Surgiversary:  214.0 lbs
             Last week:  223.8 lbs / 20.4% body fat / 169.4 lbs muscle mass
             This week:  223.0 lbs / 21.5% body fat / 166.6 lbs muscle mass

This week I’m down 0.8 lbs overall with 2.8 lbs decreased muscle mass.  I made it to the gym on 4 days this past week (1 day cardio & 3 days Physioslow strength) and ran a 5K yesterday through the neighborhood.  I did ok mindfully eating.

Beautiful weather is on tap here in middle Georgia over the next week.  Let’s go outside, get moving, and enjoy it!

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

313.0 All time high 07/13
296.0 Surgery Day 11/06/13
211.6 - Last week
211.2 - This week
Goal - 185.0

Not much of a loss this week, but at least it was moving in the right direction.  I was down 2 more pounds today, but that doesn't count since it is Monday.  I met with the Nut on Friday and she was very happy with my progress.  My BMI is now 27.9, so she said they would be happy if I stopped losing and maintained this weight.  Nope.  I am still going to make my goal of 185.

Go Wild!

Have a great week everybody.

Mike,

Where did you have your surgery? Just curious.

I went to Hennepin County Medical Center, and have my second follow up with the Dietician this week. I've been less than satisfied with their follow up, and am going to talk to them about going back to my dietician at the Emily Clinic for routine follow up.

I am starting to become a little more forcefull with the clinics etc. Like you, I am determined to reach my goal regardless of what anyone says.

Best of luck this week and keep up the good work.

John,

I went to Fairview Southdale.  I have been very happy with them thus far.
