Well, slight uptick in scale. Still, happy to be sub 200 as always!! However have to be honest here. Eating has been in a word CRAPPY...too many "snacks" and carb overload. Going to begin THIS WEEK by focusing on better food choices and the grazing....or I will become a Cow again!
On a better note, a good week w/ vitamins and water intake. Been trying to ensure I always have water with me to remember to drink it consistently!
Ok week for exercise, was able to work out 4 out of 7 days. Nicer weather is coming along so hoping it will boost my efforts!!
Have a great week!!

Well it was another disappointing weigh in for me yesterday. I have not lost anything for about the last week and a half. I am still right at 453. I am just over 4 weeks post op and I know about the stall but I worry that this is going to end in one of those failures that you hear about. I so want this to work and I want to see that scale moving again in the right direction.
Being 4 weeks post-op, you may have some trouble getting enough water (64 oz per day) or protein (40g per day). This can play havac with your body wanting to let go of its fat reserves (matabolism). Work the program - it will not fail you if you don't fail it. Over time it slowly become easier to eat solid protein and get in enough water. Some have had stalls that have lasted 4+ weeks and then the scale starts moving again. Many times even though the scale does not move, your waistline is shrinking during a stall.
If your surgeon has cleared you, you can start with light exercise which helps break the stall as well.
Good luck & let us know if we can answer any other questions!
