OK, little disappointed as scale going in the wrong direction. Still, some poore choices in eating (DAMN CARBS!!) and switching from running to other exercises, not really surprised. However, getting too close to my Mendoza Line of 200 so need to focus on food choices this week!
A good week w/ vitamins and water intake. Still, struggle w/ water as I need to up my intake but just need to be more concerted in my efforts!
Good week for exercise. Worked out 5 out of 7 days, couple days of spin classes and couple days of running. Also, getting back to do some strength training as well. Idea is to just do SOMETHING healthy!
Have a great week!!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
@Don, the boys of summer are definitely starting to take the field! We will be in the 80s later this week.
@John, you are so right about physical activity!
@Kevin, you’re in for the ride of your life!
@takingcontrolguy, check out physioslow strength training. There are even some demos on YouTube – Google it.
@Bill Mac, Amen to the “just do SOMETHING healthy!”
My stats this week:

Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
1st Surgiversary: 241.0 lbs
2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
Last week: 219.6 lbs / 21.2% body fat / 164.6 lbs muscle mass

This week I’m up 2.4 lbs overall but up 4 lbs muscle mass. On the road this past week I only made it to the hotel fitness center 1 day. I did pretty well mindfully eating considering eating out almost every meal.
At least I’m home for a couple of weeks and back into my routine.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

Making big tadoo on the local news about the "Globe Life Park", AKA: Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, turning twenty years old today. You'd think that when it was built 20 years ago some dumb ass would have enough sense to know that it gets HOT in Texas in the summer time and to put on a roof and make it climate controlled but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Don,
I am goingto be in Mansfield on business tomorrow and Thursday. I see there is an LA Fitness in S. Arlington that I can use for some excesize (@Mike R., I have an aversion to hotel Gyms for some reason). Anyway - Any restaurant recomendations that are very good as well as being WLS friendly?
Thanks,
John
I can only point out Mansfield and Arlington on a map of the Metroplex and I'm not at all familiar with the eateries. For what it is worth when I was running back and forth to ATL a few years ago I never went lower on the fast food scale than a Waffle House, IHOP or Denny's.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
