Sunday Weigh in (Saturday Morning Edition)
Since I was traveling last weekend and couldn't participate, and I am traveling at 0 dark hundred tomorrow, I thought I'd hep out and get the party started for this weekend.
337.6: High weight Dec '13
311.3: Surgery day 1/16/14
267.2: CW
180.0: Goal weight
In the last two weeks, Im down almost 7#. On one hand, I had a loftier goal than that, but considering I was on the road 10 out of the 14 days, I can't complain too much. these next two weeks are going to be a REAL challenge for me since I will not be home the entire time. I'll be in Colorado, Michigan and Brazil (for a week). I'm hopeful that in Colorado and Brazil, I will get opportunities to get more excersize in. Michigan will be tough. Now that I'm out of the 270's though, its time to make the 260's my ***** have a great week all (or two as it will be).
405 ==> Highest Weight (7/19/2013) and start of program
352 ==> Weight on the day of surgery (53 pounds lost) (12/27/2013)
311 ==> 2 months out (41 pounds lost since surgery, 94 pounds lost overall) (2/27/2014)
305 ==> Last week
304 ==> This week
After back to back 6 pound losses, I think my body is catching up to the scale and I've been up and down all week ending down 1 pound. Full speed ahead on my Couchto5K program and trying to get more walking in this week. Blood work this week, so maybe I can drop a med or 2. Have a good week.
The Numbers:
346: All time high 7/1/10 - BMI = 52
326: Tufts Medical Center, Surgery 12/27/10 BMI=49
190: Weigh In 3/9/14
196: This Week 3/16/14 -->6 lb gain BMI=29
150 Total Weight Loss
Well...what goes down I guess goes up. Still, not too bummed about the weight gain as I did not do very well in terms of eating this week, and had to cut back on exercise due to a leg injury.
However in terms of other things, good on the vitamins, but still need to work on water intake. Prefer other things like coffee and tea, but know I got to get that H2o in!
Finally, some great pride in myself. I ran my 2nd half marathon today and finished in 1 hour 56 minutes at a pace of 8:54 minute/mile. It was aoound 7 minutes better than the same race I last year!!! Unreal, for a guy who used to weigh close to 350 pounds to be running a 1/2 Marathon...very blessed man I am!
Have a great week!!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac

Out of kilter on the eating and walking over the weekend. Have to get on treadmill when I get home today since not done it since last Wednesday. Road trip and buffets not my friends.
Thanks John for leading off.
Bill, again congrats!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
My apologies for posting late again this week. Just too busy trying to get caught up on the home front being on the road for so long.
@John, thanks for kicking it off. Great progress!
@RNYguyPA, roger that on the meds! Keep it up!
@Bill Mac, awesome! You’re an inspiration.
@Don, road trips & buffets are NO one’s friends!
My stats this week:
High weight: 392.0 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
1st Surgiversary: 241.0 lbs
2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
Last week: 227.4 lbs / 19.1% body fat / 175.0 lbs muscle mass
This week: 222.0 lbs / 19.8% body fat / 169.4 lbs muscle mass
The scale is definitely moving in the right direction. I’m down 5.4 lbs overall and down 5.6 lbs muscle mass. I made it to the gym 4 days last week and did pretty well mindfully eating. Being back home in my regular routine has helped a lot.
Be safe & have a great week (er, what’s left of it) gentlemen!
-Mike
