2.5 yrs out, I need help!
I've lost over 335 lbs in 2.5 years which is great, but I find myself falling into old habits - stress eating.
I'm eating around 2250 cals a day with 60-90 mins workout.
i have a sedentary job and long days, but I always workout first thing in the morning.
What are you eating in a day?
How many cals and how long are you working out.
Thanks in advance!
I crept back into the 230lb range so that prompted me to get back on track. I use Myfitness pal to track my intake and exercise which has been a great tool. I am back to taking in around 1600 cal and getting at least 90gr of protein a day. I am back at 226 but would ultimately like to get to and maintain 215...for me that would be a solid weight.
For exercise I train BJJ and wrestle MWF during lunch, usually drilling to work up a sweat. Then regular class and hard rolling for at least 30-60min on M,T,Th,F and a two hour session on Saturdays. The weather is turning and there is not enough daylight left for mountain bike rides but I try to get at least three in a week if possible for at least 1.5hr each.....probably won't pick that back up until spring though.
Highest Weight 06/2011 = 370
Weight at Surgery 04/11/2012 = 328.8
Goal Weight = 230
The real question is are you seeing in increase in the scale? If so, have you measured your fat %? (Is THAT increasing?)
One of the best tools for me is the Resting Metabolic Rate test. Mine measured out to 1690 calories per day at "rest" So with that in mind, I can log my activities (which adds to calories available in myFitnessPal ) and know what I can eat. There are days I go way over that total / mostly due to TWO White Mochas from Starbucks at 500 calories each and other days that I do not.
I train maybe 45 minutes at a time, 3 days a week and usually pretty active on the remaining days but not exercising. My training is running 45 minutes at the moment and 5-10 minutes of push ups (sets) I was also running a LONG run every Saturday, 2-3 hours in length, but have not done one of those since my marathon in late October.
