The number is on the money! Guess having a fussy pouch for a few days this week helped in that regard.
I'm glad to see the way Glenn was supported when he made his introduction this week. We're not getting the warm bodies in here we need to replace the ones we lose. Seems to be a problem all over OH. I know life, and other social media, get in the way of spending time here but if you have a prostate and you're lurking come out of the shadows from time to time.
Short work week then we get to join the masses on the Interstate and head to Conroe for Thanksgiving. I've got Grammy and the dressing so they aren't going to start without us! Don't know how much college football I will get to see Thanksgiving Day, and even though the Cowboys are playing Thursday, it is the best day in college football because of all the rivalry games that are played.
Speaking of life getting in the way we possibly have some icy weather coming and I have a backed up sink to deal with! Better the sink than the septic tanks!
Safe Travels, Happy Thanksgiving and hopefully no killin's when the whole famdamnily gets together!
The Numbers:

Agree w/ Don...the activity on here is pretty low. Glad to see some new folks joining. Still, for the ones who post I REALLY APPRECIATE it as this journey can feel lonely at times, so nice to share with others.
As far as how I am doing, slight uptick. Still, I have a range of 200-205 so right in the middle of that so ok as I did alright in terms of eating, water, and vitamins.
On a good note, got to the gym 5 times this week.
Wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Have a Great week all!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac

No movement on the scale this week. I managed to lift weights 3 times this and got some good runs in as well. We don't have to travel as everyone is coming to our house this yr for Turkey day so I won't have to deviate much from my normal routine. Everyone have a safe holiday .
Thanks
Shane
I’m most thankful for all those who have taken the time and effort in my journey over the past 4+ years to provide support AND those who have asked for support. I strive to pay it forward – sometimes more successfully than other times. Overcoming one’s own ego and selfish desire to not let someone else help one in need is hard. However, by allowing the help, the giver receives as much or more in reaffirming support than the person in need ever knows. So, in the asking for support one provides the opportunity for someone else to give it.
@Don, take care with the ice! We southerners drive on ice like pregnant cows walking on a frozen pond. It ain’t pretty.
@Bill Mac, keep up the good work!
@Shane, showing up for the workouts is 90% of the battle!
My stats this week:
High weight: 392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
1st Surgiversary: 241.0 lbs
2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
Last week: 220.6 lbs / 20.9% body fat / 165.8 lbs muscle mass
This week: 220.4 lbs / 21.0% body fat / 165.4 lbs muscle mass
Pretty much status quo - I’m down 0.2 lbs overall and down 0.4 lbs muscle mass this week. I made it to the gym on 5 days (3 days cardio & 2 days Physioslow strength) last week. I did pretty well mindfully eating.
Thankfully no traveling this holiday. However, this means that all the turkey day leftovers stay in the house. I just hope that we can get my niece to take them home with her and her husband. (She weighs about 98 lbs soaking wet.)
Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!
-Mike

355 on 8/1/11 when the journey began, 9/21/11 was my RNY surgery date.
194.4 this morning on the scale after the 4.1 mile run! COLD out there at 6am, noticed the pond was frozen as I ran past it and forgot my gloves, had to use the sleeves of the hoodie to pull over my hands.
Worked on a 3:1 pace this morning, trying to run approx. 3 minutes, walk 1 minute. I ended up at 4.14 miles in 48:42, so 11:46 pace.
For a SECOND personal goal.. I have been thinking about body weight workouts for a while and so I have decided to go for the 100 PUSH UP challenge. I did my test last Friday, 12 good pushups.. so this morning was day 1. Did sets of 10/10/7/7/12 with 60 seconds or more rest between each one. Did these before the run and only takes 5 minutes or so. Will check in on this goal and see where we go.
Saturday I decided to go hiking! Took my Border Collie, Sasha, up to Hanging Rock park and did the trail out and back to the overlook. 1.3 miles each direction and about 520 foot up in elevation. Glute was really feeling that workout yesterday a bit today still.
Enjoying life with my puppy dog!!
