Extra hour of shut eye felt good this morning. Dog even cooperated.
Got my new truck at work, finally. Where we picked it up in Dallas Friday required driving down one of the most congested highways in the Metroplex. Both hands on the wheel and driving below the speed limit - at least till I was out of traffic!
Digits on target. Movie popcorn assisted morning stinky helped. Mrs. and I went to see Last Vegas last night. It was How Stella Got Her Groove Back for four middle-aged men. Seeing all the Vegas scenes has me thinking it is time to go. Have not been since 2009.
Have a great week!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

OK Week...especially with Halloween which I have decided is pure EVIL...lol. I did have a little candy, but for the most part did not go overboard with it.
In terms of water, still trying to be consistent about it. Vitamins are all good.
Exercise, had a good week. May start moving away from running for other things because my knees have been bothering me alot.
Have a Great week all!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
@Don, as Einstein led us to believe “it’s all relative”. Though middle aged is in the eye of the beholder – Douglas (69), De Niro (70), Freeman (76), Kline (66), the young lady at the Kroger checkout insists on giving me (53) the senior citizen discount. I’ll take the discount thank you but consider myself “pre-middle aged”!
@Shane, great progress! Keep it up.
@Bill Mac, so many options besides running – strength training, cycling, swimming, rowing, elliptical, etc. Just maintain your discipline to keep moving!
My stats this week:
High weight: 392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09: 377.5 lbs
1st Surgiversary: 241.0 lbs
2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
Last week: 220.2 lbs / 20.9% body fat / 165.8 lbs muscle mass
This week: 218.6 lbs / 20.9% body fat / 164.6 lbs muscle mass
I’m back down 1.6 lbs overall and down 1.2 lbs muscle mass this week. I made it to the gym on 5 days (3 days cardio & 2 days Physioslow strength) last week. I did pretty well mindfully eating during the week.
Congrats to the Red Sox fans for the World Series win at home. The seasons for my Vols and Falcons are pretty much over. Nothing for the coaches to do but look for next year’s starters.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!
-Mike

I'm not above "lying" to the automated ticket machine at the cinema either even though I'm only 51! I can recall an incident at the ticket window at the World of Coke there in ATL when the young lady in the booth asked "who gets which" when I asked for one "adult" and one "senior". The former female companion was quite flattered since she was the "senior" having just turned 55. I was only 47!
