The Numbers:
346: All time high 7/1/10 - BMI = 52
326: Tufts Medical Center, Surgery 12/27/10 BMI=49
200: Weigh In 10/20/13
202: This Week 10/27/13 -->2 lb gain BMI=30

140:Total Weight Loss

Little bummed with the uptick in the scale. However, not surprised as did some grazing and also only able to exercise 2 times this week.

On a positive note, did my 2nd 10K race this morning. Finished in 54:30, which is about 5 minutes better than when I did it last year!! Also, finished 10th in my age group out of 30...Not bad for a guy who used to weigh 350lbs!!.

Have a Great week all!

Yours in WLS Journey,

Bill Mac

@Don, get better!

@Bill Mac, awesome time!

@Shane, excellent goal!  You can do it – set your mini-goals to reach 13 mi by next May.  Slow & steady will get you there!

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09:  377.5 lbs
      1st Surgiversary:  241.0 lbs
      2nd Surgiversary:  212.5 lbs
      3rd Surgiversary:  217.0 lbs
      4th Surgiversary:  214.0 lbs
             Last week:  216.4 lbs / 20.3% body fat / 164.0 lbs muscle mass
             This week:  220.2 lbs / 20.9% body fat / 165.8 lbs muscle mass

I’m back up 3.8 lbs overall and up 1.8 lbs muscle mass this week.  I made it to the gym on 4 days (2 days cardio & 2 days Physioslow strength) last week.  I did pretty well mindfully eating during the week.

My Vols expectedly lost to the #1 team yesterday – Alabama, 10-45.  Next Saturday, TN is headed to Missouri.  My Falcons lost to the Cardinals, 13-27, today and head to Charlotte next Sunday.  We’ll have to start looking forward to next year!

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

-Mike

I am officially a Marathoner!  I had ONE goal which was to finish the durn race and that I did.  It was not pretty and I will write up a full race report and post a link here soon.  Finished in 6:31.....26.2 miles, 1300+ feet of elevation (up and then down) and ended up having to walk for the most part after mile 17.

ONE...and DONE... I enjoyed the half, but the second part not so much...

Stats:  355 and literally could NOT walk around the entire mall in the summer of 2011, RNY surgery on 9/21/11

195 as of this morning, my normal weight now, but thinking of working on losing a bit more since my BF% is still 25% or so.
