I rewarded myself getting back to 170 by opening a bag of "crack in a sack" AKA: Peanut M&M Snack Mix. Wroops.
As the title implies I have a case of the "man flu" or a doozie of a sinus infection. One of the two It has not kept me home from work, and it won't tomorrow, but yesterday was a stay inside, watch it rain, stare at the football games on TV, graze on "crack in a sack" type of day and drank 72 ounces of water. Today, different story. Got to do a some domestic engineering since Jan is working. Will still keep the water handy.
Aggies beat the Rebels, M-State won, Baylor is 5-0 and drum roll please TEXAS beat OU! Hope the Cowboys win over the politically incorrect named team from our Nation's Capital. They want a new name. The "Ineffective Electeds" comes to mind. Team mascot would have to walk around with it's head up it's ass.
Go make it a great week gents!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Morning All,
I'm back on track and moving down again. We had lots of rain here too Friday and most of yesterday. The Michigan Penn State game was crazy to watch 4 0T's. It's about time Texas stuck it back to OU lol. My Seahawks lost last week here's hoping they bounce back this week against Titans. Any have a great week everyone. Here's hoping I don't go back and stall again this week.
Thanks
Shane

Good luck everyone and have a good week!

Slight uptick, but will take it as it as my eating was not great nor exercise routine for the week
I have decided for each week I am going to try to focus on one are of my WLS journey. As such, I am going to work on water intake this week. I know I am supposed to get 64oz daily, but in all honesty am lucky to get in 1/2 that. This week I am going to ensure to get at least 64oz per day, STARTING TODAY.
Just a reminder to us all, this is journey is not a sprint, but rather a marathon!
Have a good week!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
@Don, hope you kick the “man flu” soon.
@Shane, excellent progress! Stalls are part of the process.
@Crispy, good job! Yeah, the water weight / glycogen stores in your muscles can easily vary your weight +/- 5 lbs from week to week when you’re exercising strenuously.
@Bill Mac, good plan! Water is the lubricant that keeps your going.
My stats this week:

2nd Surgiversary: 212.5 lbs
3rd Surgiversary: 217.0 lbs
4th Surgiversary: 214.0 lbs
Last week: 218.5 lbs / ? body fat / ? lbs muscle mass
This week: 218.4 lbs / 19.6% body fat / 167.0 lbs muscle mass
So glad the trip to SoCal for the OH2013 conference didn’t get me off track! I’m status quo weight-wise. I made it to the gym on 3 days (1 day cardio & 2 days Physioslow strength) last week and did pretty well mindfully eating during the week – even there in Anaheim!
My Vols and the Falcons are off this week so at least we won’t have another one in the L column – the Vols face off against South Carolina next Saturday and the Falcons will host the Buccaneers next Sunday. Beautiful weather here in Middle Georgia. No rain on the horizon until later in the week.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!
-Mike

Checking in from NC...
355 is where I started this journey, August 2011.
196.x this morning after a week off with NO exercise! IT band seized on my long run last weekend and took a rest hoping to let it recover.
This morning, did a 5k (3.x miles and change) and having issues with it again.. sigh. Trying to decide if I want to go to a Voodoo Doctor to get their help (Chiropractor) or just do the various physical therapy routines on my own.
My marathon is in 2 weeks.. things are not looking at the moment sigh.
