Sunday Weigh-in (a day early)
So I'm posting for the first time in years on the weekly board!! I still follow this board, but not as closely as I used to...Sorry guys. Next week will be 7 years post op. I have been working my tool given me. I got down to a low of 187-190 at my lowest...My high was about 300. Over the years I have crept up to a high of about 132-134. As of today (Monday) I hit 123.2...and still working hard. I have cut back on tortilla chips to near nothing (my big downfall). I have cut out about 90% of the sugar I was using just months ago. I still put sugar in my McDonalds Coffee, but only drink about 3 oz and save the rest for the next few days. I ride my bicycle a lot now. I ride my bike to church on Sundays. I go 3rd service (fewer people), and not sit next to anyone (if I stink)...It's 5.2 miles each way. Also lift my 10 pound weights and do sit ups. I've had 2 heart attacks so I can't play around with my weight. As some of you will find out, maintenance is not that easy. Your weight starts to creep up on you...You say "I'll work it off later"...Yeah, right, sure!! For those of you who will try and test your limits, since you are doing good...Rewarding yourself with garbage food...DON"T!!! Almost like a drug addict going back to the stuff. Well...That's my story and I'm sticking to it...Brian

Still at my 192-193 range, usually weighing after my runs, can creep as high as 194-195ish.
I "think" I am slowly......S L O W L Y leaning out a bit from all the running. I am actually holding back and only running 3x per week per my training plan, and hope to bump up to 5-6x a week after the marathon.
This Saturday should be interesting, last LONG run before the big race on 10/26. I will be running 23 miles on Saturday morning....and early afternoon. Probably close to 5 hours on the road all told as I am running 12-13 minute miles right now, keeping my pace slow on purpose, save the energy for those last couple of hours.
Getting REALLY excited about this upcoming race. So much so that I am likely going to get my first ever tattoo afterwards to mark my achievement. I would NEVER have guessed how far I would come from where I started.
I literally was on a date with my wife and could not finish walking around the mall with her. (Knee was hurting so bad) I felt like such a chump... checked into surgery options within a couple weeks of that date.
Biggest question afterwards will be...so what is NEXT!?
