HW: 555 lbs
Last Month: 288 lbs
This Week: 282 lbs

Loss has slowed down but is still going the right direction. Kinda behaving like I'm already in maintenance but for a man of 230 lbs.

Zipping? Gets me thinking what I should do that I couldn't do before.....

Congrats on your continued loss. What are ou doing that makes you think of maintenance? I think if you are considering zipping you would love it! I went at about 18 Months out and weight of about 280 ish. I had a great time.

We'll, I'm eating more but I'm 14 months out. I'm averaging about 2000 cal per day which is still losing for a man of my size/activity level. I'm scared of getting to some goal, switching to maintenance mode and gaining weight. So I'm trying to get my mind right now. The psychological part of this journey is by far the most difficult part.

As for zipping, not that specifically, but something different that I was unable to before. A way to mark a milestone.

Strapped into an airplane seat lately?

Tried an amusement park / carnival ride?

Little brainstorming....

I was thinking something to really work toward like walking the Macinac Bridge next Labor Day (if they still do that) or maybe a glider or hot air balloon flight. Something monumental.

Just so you know, I am 6' tall, so looking kinda skinny with a lot of loose skin. My wife caught me looking at  plastic surgery sites for Gynecomastia and told me we could not afford for me to do cosmetic surgery. Then she said if we could, she would be first and would get a Labiaplasty... ( look it up, don't worry you won't see my wife in any of the before pictures )

Well I guess neither will be happening any time soon unless Publishers Clearing House comes to our door.

See you guys next time

Daniel

Dan,

I hear ya. Your weight loss is fantastic ! I self insured for the surgery and my current plan does not cover plastics at all.Seems like the work could cost $25k, but it all doesn't have to happen at one time. Let's figure out how to get this done!!

I am looking in the mirror and wondering what is skin and what is fat. I keep joking with my friends that while working our I sound like a one man slap band. I usually wear a compression shirt, now feel like I have to. Things have gotten so loose in the thigh area I am seriously considering the shorts as well, especially now that it is cooling off.

I don't think Botox or a cosmetic filler would do any good.
