Side effect of skin? Embarrassing
I'm almost 5 years out and it's weird that I can't believe I'm seeing new issues and asking questions. This one is kind of embarrassing.
Anyone experience issues emptying their bladder due to the pubic area skin? it seems like I have to take an extra minute to make sure I've fully drained my bladder. It's like it gets honked up due to the pubic pouch of skin.
I tried searching the forums and found nothing. Anyone familiar with this? I have a physical next month and I'm going to man up and address it. (not a fan of discussing stuff like that with my doctor lol)

Are you sure this is a new problem or could it be something you only notice easier because you lost alot of weight?
I've just recently dropped below 400 pounds so I don't really know what's going on down there with all the pubic fat and a massive gut blocking the view .

Now that you mention it, I have had that problem... I think I'm done and after I put things away I find myself a little damp. I hate to admit it publicly but I have been sitting for a pee and it has solved the problem.
Ok no jokes from you guys.

Welcome to the sit-and-pee club! We're all a bunch of "embarrassing" people :)
Let me make sure I've got this right -
Is it your deflated panni getting in the way of your stream and you are whizzing on yourself or is it a feeling like you've whizzed, go to put your junk up but the last drop won't fall till you've got your junk repackaged?
A urinary tract infection comes to mind or may be that you are dehydrated? When I get to thinking I may be dehydrated I feel the need to whiz but try as I might - it ain't happening.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!
Like Dan said, I don't know if I have this right. General info...As you age your prostate grows. It continues to grow over the years. That is why it takes me (and others) longer to drain. There are medications that will increase the urine flow and that can shrink the prostate. I am on both. In a few years I may need surgery to reduce my prostate...It's a very common surgery. Some men lose their erection ability while others still have it...Don't know the % that loses it. You may soon be seeing a urologist. As men age these issues come up...part of life.
