Anyone interested in joining me in a goal of losing 20lbs? I am planning to track my eating by food log and exercise with exercise log. I will follow my nutrition plan from the dr and record daily my calorie deficit due to diet and exercise and track that against my weight.
Thinking that if I make a goal or game of 70,000 calories (20 lb x3500 calories), it will help me focus on reaching the 20 lbs. I'll sort of count it down as the deficit adds up, comparing it to weight along the way?

Just a quick note to say I am not ready to lose weight at the moment, will be trying again after my marathon but I know you can do it!!

I had crept up to 205-209ish and wanted to kickstart my diet over again and I did about 20 days of the Whole30 diet program (really is a DIET, short term) and it reset my tastebuds, etc.

Just a plan to consider!  I dropped from there to my current 195ish and have stayed down here since then!

Best of luck!

Sam

Looks interesting and not too far off from what I am doing now. I'd have to drop cheese, yogurt and rice cakes. Essentially already doing more of it. Wondering now if the dairy is an issues. Thanks for the response.

What is whole30? Can you give the gist or point me to where i can get more info. I'm looking to drop another 20 or so pounds to hit my goal. I'm almost 2 years out. I wanted to hit goal by my anniversary but that's Nov 2 and i think that's too drastic. Thanks for any info.

Here is the link below. Basically a meat, veggie and fruit plan. Minus dairy, some legumes and whitey potatoes. No sugar, sweeteners or alcohol. Nothing processed. Tons of info on the web. I'm curious if dropping dairy will help me.

Hi. I'm coming up on my two year anniversary (Nov 2) and I'm looking to drop another 20 to 30 lbs. I started at 410, down to 220-230 and I'm 6'3". Come a long way but not quite there. I'll join in with you for some support.

Congrats on your weight loss. Approaching my 3 year (now passed) is what got me. My weight is right about 235 right now and I want to hit 220. I'm a little shorter than you at 5'11". Have been wondering for a while what weigh I should go to. Or maybe could go to. I just know I don't like this weigh, but will I ever like any weight lol

Girl at work yesterday was talking me I look great and could see why I wanted to lose more. So this year I am down 60+ from May. So I am at my lowest in many years. I am looking at my body fat now and muscle mass. Both are around 72 lbs right now. I think I want to get my muscle mass to about 80 and the fat down to 25ish.

Glad to work with someone. Do you want to do this through the thread?
