I am thinking of taking a job as over the road truck driver, I had Gastric RNY December 17 2012 and I have lost 124 pounds so far by eating right and exercise. So I am worried that with driving that my exercise will in fact be cut way down. Looking for advice and guidance to see what everyone has experienced.

Not a OTR driver but know when I was running back and forth to GA if I stopped for the night I would often time myself and just walk circles around the hotel/motel.  I spend a lot of time on my ass either at a desk or in a car at work (police officer) just "unassing" and movement of any sort is a welcome relief.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

About 6-7 years ago we had a guy on the Men's Forum who did over the road.  He had RNY.  It was really unique what he had done.  He somehow put a bracket on the back of his cab and put his bike on the bracket. Each night (weather permitting) he would ride his bike.  I had my Class A, but soon found out over the road was not for me...I became high strung.  Walking is a clear choice too.  With the new reduction of hours allowed OTR, you may have more down time for exercise.  Brian
