Where did that pound come from? kiss Will waive my right of self incrimination and confess to having movie theater popcorn, sans butter, yesterday at the "talkie" we took the girls to.

Managed to get some extra treadmill time in this week since I knew we would have the granddaughter's here this weekend.  Room that treadmill is in doubles as their "play room" when they are here.  May have to consider road walking today if I feel the urge to do something before we return them this afternoon.

Do the best that you can with what you get this week!!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I'm down 2 lbs this week. I"m okay with that been walking pretty much every day sticking to the doc's plan. A couple weeks ago I had a 8 lb loss due to coming down with a kidney stone. I didn't eat for a few days, all better now thank god.

Thanks

Shane

Don, I think I know how you feel enlightened.

Has been a rainy week here, but I finally achieved a 200 pound bench press. That was only one rep though, and I haven't been able to do it again as I'm still struggling at 150 lbs. Damn!

The Numbers:
346: All time high 7/1/10 - BMI = 52
326: Tufts Medical Center, Surgery 12/27/10 BMI=49
202: Weigh In 8/11/13
200: This Week 8/18/13 -->2 lb loss BMI=29
148:Total Weight Loss

Well, down 2 pounds this week. Nothing earth shattering, but would rather see the numbers going down rather than up!! Eating has been up and down, some days better then others, exercise was better ran 3 x times this week including 8 miles today, and water intake getting better. I continue to see that this journey is a marathon not a sprint and I have to take it a day at a time.

Hope you all have a good week!

Yours in WLS Journey,

Bill Mac

@Don, “Do the best that you can with what you get this week” - words I live by.

@Shane, congrats!  Two words that I live by for kidney stones – “Cranberry Pills”.

@Johan, way to go!  Keep it up.

@Bill Mac, you know it being a marathon vs. sprint!

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09:  377.5 lbs
      1st Surgiversary:  241.0 lbs
      2nd Surgiversary:  212.5 lbs
      3rd Surgiversary:  217.0 lbs
      4th Surgiversary:  214.0 lbs
Last week:  218.0 lbs / 19.9% body fat / 166.0 lbs muscle mass
This week:  215.2 lbs / 20.5% body fat / 162.8 lbs muscle mass

I’m back down 2.8 lbs overall this week but also down 3.2 lbs muscle mass.  I made it to the gym on 3 days (2 days cardio & 1 day strength) last week and did pretty well mindfully eating during the week.  Still trying the PhysioSlow method of strength training.  As the name implies it involves moving very slowly – 10 seconds per movement of each rep.  More info is in an article by Melissa Bowman Li located online at:

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

Holding steady this week. Had a lot of travel and bad eating habits. Meaning I wa****ting 1500 calories per day etc. Consistently exercised all week. Especially worked hard kayaking which really burns those Calories. Seeing a lot of body shape changes. Good luck everyone and have a good week?

Howdy ho neighbors!!

355 on 8/1/11, 321 on surgery day, RNY, 9/21/11

Was with the wife at a retreat all weekend, snacking like the old Sam, except only a few cookies at a time instead of 6 to infinity!!  Cookies are my bane...et tu Oreo?

Weight was 194.x this morning after the run, so holding steady but really need to start losing some as I get ready for the big race in October.
