Duck Dynasty??

So I don't have cable (just a TV antenna).  I will go to a sports bar to watch 1 or 2 49er games a year (the ones on cable).  Also when I travel and I'm in a motel room I'll watch cable. Anyways, I'm not up to date on current events on cable (example Honey Bo Bo).  I'm trying to find a full episode of Duck Dynasty on Youtube.  Can't find one.  Anyone have a link where I can watch a full episode...Just to see what all the interest is about...

Not going to say it is the best show on TV but rates way up there.  Quite entertaining w/o profanity or nudity.  Some references to "sweet lovin" on occasion but lots of violence directed toward ducks and beavers!

"Duck Dynasty" compared to "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" is like "Masterpiece Theater" compared to "The Three Stooges".  Sad to say the Thompson/Shannon family comes across on TV as they are in real life.  They live about 45 minutes away from the town I live in (the big city to them) which they visit frequently.  I guess America spends so much time watching a show about a dysfunctional family is that it makes them feel so much better about their own.

You're right...No comparison.  It's like apples and oranges.  I've only seen a few minutes of Honey Boo Boo. And like Don said...Honey Boo Boo is like seeing a bad accident that you turn away, but want to see a small bit, just to know what's going on.  From seeing Duck Dynasty I can see the guys are smart, creative, good business men and have morals.  They may not have the best hygiene and can be a hand full for their wives, but it looked entertaining. 

Wanted to share a story about reading a book by it's cover.  I was traveling around Europe with a tour group when I was young.  It was mostly groups of high school seniors from all over the country.  I assumed (wrongly), when I met a group from the Kansas City area...I though this one girl was slow and not sharp because of her accent.  Boy was I wrong.  She had a 4.0 and was headed to a major university the following year.  Here in California it's just like the south or deep south...There are many wise and very smart people...and many foolish and unwise people who make poor choices.  When I'm traveling to different places, I tell people I'm from California.  They make these crazy assumptions (the land of fruits and nuts)...It's like their guard goes up.  My 2 cents also.  Brian

Used to buy diesel fuel for the farm from a guy who talked slow like Forest Gump.  Taught me to not judge a book by it's cover.  Read in one of the local fish wrappers that he had gotten a HUGH grant, a couple of hundred grand HUGH, from Texas A&M to do some research on getting rid of fire ants or some thing like that.  He has his PhD in entomology!
