Well, up another pound this week putting me over 200. To say the least not happy. Still, it is a reality check in terms of my program. Eating has been poor, exercise minimal, and water intake near non existant. I can either keep going down a slippery road to regain, or get off the pity pot and get back to basics. I am going to pull myself up by the boot straps and get back to basics and not be a STATISTIC IN REGAIN AFTER WLS!!
Hope you all have a good week...
Have a great week All!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
Yep... mine had crept from 195 to 200, then to 205...finally 208 or 209 for one day and I kickstarted my diet again to get under 200. Just a "number" but still for me I want to stay under 200 for the rest of my life and it is motivating.
Back to the basics for me, Protein, Veggies (and Fruit) were my primary foods and I cut out ALL forms of sweetner for about 3 weeks. No splenda/sweetnlow, etc. Reset my taste buds...
Whichever method you follow, best of luck to you!

My official check in
355lbs was my highest, 8/1/11, so I am 2 years out now from the start of my program. RNY surgery on 9/21/11, so that anniv is coming soon.
Hovering around 195 right now, weighing a few times each week...
Found out that losing 3% of your body weight is not un-reasonable if you start running LONG distances! Confirmed that again on Saturday, dropped to 187.8 (from 195 approx) on my 13.25 mile run. Drank liquids like crazy since then to get re-hydrated.
Tried running on ZERO fuel (skipped breakfast this time) and I was DONE at the 13.x miles, really was going for another 2 miles but called the wife to come pick me up.
However I am rebounding pretty quickly, was up and out the door running errands with her an hour or so later, but legs were tired and I took some Tylenol to help with the ache/soreness.
