Morning Men!
Happy Fathers Day to all those who subscribe! I hope today finds everyone happy and healthy. I had a semi-eventful week in which I had my 1 year post-op appointment (at 14 months out), celebrated my 50th birthday and my 27th anniversary. I will take my 1 lb. gain throughout this week in stride, way, way too much celebratin' going on. My surgeon and NUT were very pleased that I am maintaining within a couple pounds for the last 6 months or so since the honeymoon ended. I made it to the gym twice last week despite all the distractions and should be back to the routine this week. Plans for the day include breakfast with a close bud, house work, and if I happen to see my daughter she might even remember what day it is... :-( The cats already greeted me enthusiastically this morning and I think they might even have gotten me a card or something... :-)
Carry on men and I'll see you in a week!
Brian
Hug your kids every day, let them know they are loved, keep them safe the best you can.

Much better! Less "road kill" and more treadmill time than last week. No "crack in a sack" this week either. I was right about work being a ***** after being off a few days. Best part was not having to go to court.
If you don't have Home Depot stock - go buy some!! Since Jan and I had complete households of "stuff" we suggested to our wedding guest that any donations to the home remodeling fund via HD gift cards would be appreciated. Did not extort enough to cover all we want to do but it will knock a chunk off any way.
Happy Father's Day to our father's. Happy Birthday and Anniversary Brian. Wise idea to keep them in proximity to each other. Make it easier to remember the important one and it ain't your birthday I'm talking about!
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Looks like I recovered from the wedding last weekend, though it took a few days lol. Way too much food for too long. Does not fit well with a spartan meal featuring 2 oz of protein. I have my 2-1/2 year follow up with my surgeon July 2nd. My mini goal right now is to be below my lowest recorded weight with him. The office had me at 265 at my 1 yr. So it looks like this is acheivable even with the scale difference (my Dr. Scale always runs about 4-5 lbs higher due to clothes etc..). Next up is my surgery goal of 240.

Happy Father’s Day!
@Brian, that’s the advantage that we have now – we can change the lbs trend through our behavior with the knowledge and tool we now possess.
@Don, got that right about remembering the dates. When Mama ain’t happy, nobody is!
@Chrispy, excellent progress – keep it up!
@Rob, WTG, you’re on the losers’ bench!
My stats this week:
High weight: 392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4-Aug-09: 377.5 lbs
Last week: 217.2 lbs / 20.5% body fat / 164.2 lbs muscle mass
This week: 215.6 lbs / 20.3% body fat / 163.4 lbs muscle mass
My overall weight is down another 1.6 lbs this week with muscle mass down 0.8 lbs. I made it to the gym on 3 days this past week in spite of work being a bear. This past week at work I hosted a workshop with the full spread of snacks and goodies for the participants. I was able to resist for the most part.
Next weekend, we will be traveling to see family and tiptoe through that smorgasbord minefield.
Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!
-Mike

Happy I am at my goal weight. I was mindful for most of my eating this week. As usual, my major goal is to stay at 196 or under on a weekly basis. Doing my best to adhere to the basics of 64 oz of water, Food Journaling, and consistent exercise. So overall a good week
My exercise was OK this week. Only got to run a couple times. Still, today was able to get out and do 5 miles and felt pretty good overall!.
Enjoyed reading everyone's progress, your journeys always make me reflect to consider my own!!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac

Still holding.
For Fathers Day, my daughter and I drove to Bend, Or and picked up a new bike for her we found on Craigslist. She has been saving her babysitting money for a few months and I chipped in the remainder. On the way home, we rode our bikes into Behnam Falls...she did great! Looks like I have a new biking partner.
