Happy Mothers Day everyone!
PSA here: Mom's get to eat free at Hooters today!
My mom is no longer with us or I'd have had to try and get her in there for some wings! Plans for today include a visit to my mother in laws plot to plant flowers and a breakfast out with my wife, I am hoping her sons at least remember to call her, this is the first Mothers Day since her daughter passed so I am hoping for the best!
Flatline for the week for me again... ho hum. Might have to shake things up a bit like Sam!
Till next week, Brian
Hug your kids every day, let them know they are loved, keep them safe the best you can.

Another week of status quo. However, I am good with that. When I reflect on the fact that I have lost 150 POUNDS that is pretty friggin amazing. Plus, I am very comfortable to be at my own personal set weight of 196. Eating was better overall, but could do a little better with some choices and times of grazing. Still, want to try to be commited to ge stick to basics: Water; Protein; Journaling. Clearly Maintenance requires WORK!
In terms of exercise, it was going well.. However due to ankle injury no running but have been biking and swimming and doing weight lifting.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Yours in WLS Journey,
Bill Mac
@Brian & Bill Mac, status quo all way round. At least that’s better than the scale going in the wrong direction!
My stats this week:
High weight: 392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4-Aug-09: 377.5 lbs
Last week: 217.0 lbs / 19.8% body fat / 165.4 lbs muscle mass

July 2012 I hit 205.... October 2012 my previous low at 195
Last week a NEW low at 193.x
This week a NEW low at 191.x
About Thursday night, 730pm exactly, I went off the Whole30 challenge and got a Venti White Mocha of epicniss (new word?) SO good...
I actually saw my weight still drop to the 191.4 on Sunday morning, eating pretty healthy but had allowed in the Mochas and such, even a donut on Friday night.
I am waiting for the official results of my wife's 3 week pre-pre surgery diet visit with the NUT this morning, she did well and we expect to hear of a surgery date, hopefully early to mid-June for her.
Our group has a VERY strict 3 week pre-surgery diet to shrink the liver and my plan is to join her again on this and I will jump right back into the Whole30.
I will say the W30 plan does change your 'taste' as I tried some water with the MIO stuff in it this weekend and it was WAY too sweet! (Plus I could not even finish that donut, such a waste of Maple glazing) LOVING fruit now more than ever and veggies have more taste, etc. I think that is the biggest change was resetting my taste buds.
