Hi Gents!

Flat line for me this week thankfully, was wicked good with the food choices, no garbage at all this week except for my once weekly pizza splurge. Getting tired of salad with grilled chicken! Went for several walks through the woods and working around the house and yard.

have a great week my friends,

Brian

Nothing exciting from here.  Got my blood work back from Doc and need to cut down on some of the supplements, D and B12, that I take.  Was literally off the scale with them but the rest were down the middle.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  My pastor told the “story” of Cindo de Mayo today as part of a communion meditation:

Back in 1912, Mexico ordered a huge order of Hellman's Mayonnaise from England (where Hellman's was made) and it was to be a huge shipment to be delivered to Mexico, where it was very popular, on a ship you may have heard...the Titanic.  Well, the ship never made it and the large shipment was lost.  It was so sad that Mexico created a national holiday of mourning that still continues to this day - it's called Cinco de Mayo.

He definitely needs to keep his day job since he would starve as a comedian!

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4-Aug-09:  377.5 lbs
Last week:  217.4 lbs / 20.0% body fat / 165.2 lbs muscle mass
This week:  217.0 lbs / 19.8% body fat / 165.4 lbs muscle mass

My overall weight is down 0.4 lbs this week with muscle mass up 0.2 lbs.  I made it to gym on 4 days this past week.  So much for the dehydrated theory - % body water was 56.6 vs. last week 56.4.  This must be my new normal.  I followed the program better this week with better food choices and eating on schedule.

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

-Mike

P.S.  DON’T forget that next Sunday is Mother’s Day.

Well a stale mate it is. After gaining 3 last week, happy to be at my own personal set weight of 196. Eating was better overall, but could do a little better overall.Still, want to try to be commit to get back to basics: Water; Protein; Journaling. Clearly Maintenance requires WORK

In terms of exercise, it was going well.. However due to ankle injury no running but have been swimming and doing Nautlus equipment.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Yours in WLS Journey,

Bill Mac

I thought I posted last week but I cannot find it anywhere so I guess I forgot to hit the button. Anyway, this is my first post I suppose and I am about 6 weeks out now.

Highest Weight: 303

Weight On Surgery Day: 295

Last Week's Weight: 263.6

Today's Weight: 260.4

Total Weight Loss: 34.6

Body Fat: 38.5%

From last Sunday until this weekend everything showed me that I was in a "stall" because the scale was not changing at all. When I weighed in yesterday after stepping away from the scale for a few days I was down 3.2 pounds. We went camping this weekend at a theme park and I did pretty good with the food. It makes it easier when you camp because you can control the food better. I also walked about 6 miles which is pretty good for me considering I have a hip that needs to be replaced. Perhaps the walking helped push me through that stall.

321 on 9/21/11 RNY Surgery Day

Hit 205 July 2012, was my lowest ever on 10/17/2012 at 195.6 and inched my way back up to 202-205ish since then.

Started the Whole30 Challenge 2 weeks ago today, not supposed to weigh yourself for a full month but HAD to see this weekend.

NEW RECORD... 193.4 as of Sunday morning!!  So I am back in CENTURY CITY!!

Knowing what my lean weight is (142 pounds) and that I had 60 pounds of fat I could still lose allowed me to step up my game and really get serious about my diet again.

Was a bit surprised to see the scale go down 12 pounds in the last 2 weeks (205 to 193) but I will take it!

Especially considering I was on vacation last week to the OBX, but was able to resist DUCK DONUTs and MOCHA from Starbucks and stick to the plan.

Would like to drop another 20 pounds if I can, get under 20% body fat.

Sam

Attaboy Sam!  That kind of loss at this stage of the game is awesome!
