Easter Sunday Check In

Good Morning Gents,

First, my apologies to Brian, our trusted leader!! I am going to have a house full of family and friends, so wanted to get my check in.

The Numbers:
346: All time high 7/1/10 - BMI = 52
326: Tufts Medical Center, Surgery 12/27/10 BMI=49
192: Weigh In 3/24/13
190: This Week 3/31/13 -->2 pounds loss BMI=28
158:Total Weight Loss

Well like the saying what goes up must come down!! Down a  couple pounds but not surprised as I was more mindful with my eating this week. Tried to cut out some of the grazing I had been partaking in lately.

Excerise is going well. No races this week, but ran on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Never in a million years did I picture myself running, let alone enjoying it!!

For those who celebrate Happy Easter or Passover, to all others Happy Spring!

Yours in WLS Journey,

Bill Mac

171.5: 2nd Surgiversary (Dr. scales)

170.2: 4th Surgiversary
172.2: Last week
173.0: This week

Work is kicking the crap out of me.  Made MAJOR headway on burglary/vehicle thefts I've been working on so makes it some what acceptable.  No time for exercise till Friday.  Have to try and do better this week.

Reason for the black is that the Kaufman County DA and his wife were both executed at their residence Friday night.  This coming two months after one of his ADA's was killed walking in a parking lot between his car and his office.  It is unknown who the actor(s) are.  Speculation is that it is possibly white separatists or maybe even Cartel.  Scary ass s**t.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

@Bill Mac, Brian is probably traveling back home from his FL vacay.  Thanks for kicking it off.

@Don, first let me thank you for your service.  The Kaufman DA, his wife, and the ADA are the epitome of the quote attributed to Edmund Burke - “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”.  Like our military who fight evil every day in foreign lands, our public service “warfighters” fight evil every day on our neighborhood streets.

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4-Aug-09:  377.5 lbs
Last week:  215.8 lbs / 20.6% body fat / 162.8 lbs muscle mass
Last week:  217.4 lbs / 19.3% body fat / 166.8 lbs muscle mass

My overall weight this week is up 1.6 lbs with muscle mass up 4 lbs.  I made it to the gym 4 days this past week for a full 60 minutes of cardio each day and continued to up my intensity burning 1100-1200 kcal during each workout.  I can tell my body is getting accustomed to the increased intensity workout.  My glycogen stores are not nearly depleted by the end of the week as they were getting.  Probably the reason for the recovery in my muscle mass.  I’ll continue to look for a trend in my muscle mass.

We’ve had a mild Easter day here in Middle Georgia.  Periods of sun and rain all day with rain predicted tonight and tomorrow.  Rest of this week is supposed to be sunny and mild.  You can definitely see that Spring is in the air (and on the cars)!

Be safe & have a great week gentlemen!

321 9/2/11 RNY Surgery Day

202ish this morning as usual!!

Some NEW news, my wife is officially in the RNY surgery track, we are hoping for a June surgery date!!  Kind of fun re-living all the excitement about what is coming, new clothing sizes, abilities, etc!!  She is hanging out here somewhere on OH, lurking, not sure if she posts or not!

We were laughing that the meals we eat out now are split, 25/75 and now we will probably end up with 3-4 meals out of one "serving" after her surgery!  I know our eating out budget and groceries is a LOT cheaper with just my reduced portions / twas enough to actually pay for the Harley, ha!

Excellent!  My wife had RNY about 2 yrs after me.  We definitely have benefited from the co-support (and the cheaper food bill).

Best wishes to you both,

Mike

Hi Gents!

Apologies for the tardiness, the help is much appreciated! I can't seem to get caught up after returning from my too-short vacation.

I am flat for the week, still up a couple pounds from my low weight. Not unhappy about where I am at, stresses of day to day life keeping me from my focus but no damage done. I am looking forward to spring and all that it brings.

Till next week,

Brian
