Sunday Morning Weigh-In

Sam,

With body composition scales, be sure to not have any moisture on your body when you get on the scales.  Even the remnants of a shower can throw off the measurement since it is measuring your body's impedance.  Be sure to be hydrated and void your bladder before weighing.  Also, completely naked.  All of these can throw off the measurement.

If you have a smartphone, use MyFitnessPal.com which has an iPhone and Android app.  Makes logging your food and exercise quick and easy with NO paperwork.

Good luck!

Scales are headed in the right direction. It's actually better than expected. I've been really sick since Wednesday. Unfortunately, I have no one to back me up at work so if I fallout the manager before me has to stay for an extra ten hours. Since I only have to be on the premises I went to work and was able to sleep in my car for two nights. I let my boss know ahead of time and we decided it was better than me calling out. So I brought a warm blanket and pillow and got comfortable for a while. Today I started to feel better and hope to be back to normal by tomorrow..... Ok guys, I'm done whining!!! LOL have a good week and I'll talk to ya next Sunday. Oh and Don I hope you are feeling better. Take care

Well, better late than never- I have been hovering on the high end of my 5 lb. parameter. Carb grazing has crept in a little since the holidays, I did get a beach walk and a five miler in this week, so all is not lost. I am gearing up for a mess of work that should keep me distracted a bit during the daytime. I'm looking forward to some longer days to get that neighborhood run in after 5:00 pm, and the road races will be on my heels in no time.

What kind of calcium citrate are you guys taking? I'm still doing the Bariatric Advantage chewables, usually chocolate and strawberry creme- I also keep tablets in the truck- this stuff is all over the place- cabinets, night stands, vehicles, and work place. I sure wish I could just do it all in the morning- but I spread them out throughout the day.

My annual physical today, I used to dread these appointments, but now I have nothing to fear- hopefully!!
