I can tell it's New Years by only looking at one thing... No not the calendar, not the phases of the moon, not the weather nor the amount of daylight... I only need to check out the parking lot at my gym! Man! I only wish the gym were going to be this busy in a month! I wish them all luck and the perseverance to make a real difference in their lives!
Happy New Year to all my WLS Brothers, hope 2013 finds you all happy and healthy.
I have made it an all time low weigh-in this week, down 4 for the week to 173 and a fat% of 13. 2 gym trips, watched my intake and the magic is back. I am amazed that even though I am nearly 9 months out that (as long as I follow the rules) the weight comes off... I have my first physical with my regular doc this next week, man is he going to be pleasantly surprised. I won't be looking forward to all the routine testing that comes along with it but it's a necessary evil I guess.
Till next week, Brian

Well I'm back in my zone after my exercise post. I'm kind of curious how long it takes for our bodies to process extra calories into a net weight gain. I guess weighing yourself every day has its "ups and downs" LOL. Getting back into a regular schedule is important for me from a weight maintenance point of view. A couple of days from off work in a row, especially in holiday mode creates an environment conducive to grazing. Working 10 hour days six days in a row is preferable, not to mention making some coin for my business.
I will be setting up the finished part of my basement today for an impromptu exercise room, after the post X-mas dump run, of course. I'm still looking for a treadmill but we have an elliptical trainer and some free weights that need to be dusted off in the meantime. Running is my preferred exercise, but I will do whatever to keep the cardio stuff going. I'm thinking of mounting a small flat screen TV for a distraction .
Anybody have info on the calorie processing stuff would be a good post or reply. Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks and good luck.
Tim T.

To say that I feel like chopped up, refried dog **** would be an insult to the chopped up, refried dog **** Cold, sinus infection whatever you want to call it - I got it! Took me a little lower below my base line so has a positive. Now I have an excuse not to bust my hump today breaking down decorations etc. Top it off it is foggy and drizzly. Unfortunately feeling puny and the icky weather will keep me inside and not out playing with my new toy from the Gun Show last week. Grandpa Don got him a new .45.
Brian look at the bright side about having all the noobs at the gym - surely there is a little eye candy in the mix.
Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

Well a slight uptick. Not surprised as last couple of days I was at a Spiritual Retreat and most of the meals were very carb heavy. Still, the trade off was worth it as I left this morning after a couple days at a Men's Spiritual Retreat and feel fantastic and a refreshed attittude.
My Exercise over the past week was good. I was able to get in 3 days of exercise/running. I was hoping to go for a run today, but had a lot of things to catch up on so will have to go tomorrow!
Yours in WLS,
Bill Mac
