High weight: 542
This week: 432

I feel good about myself at least taking walks every day even if it's freezing and slippery outside with all the snow and ice we've got here :)

    My stats this week:

           High weight:  392 lbs
Pre-op Weight 4 Aug 09:  377.5 lbs
Last week:  219.0 lbs / 19.4% body fat / 167.8 lbs muscle mass
This week:  220.4 lbs / 20.7% body fat / 166.0 lbs muscle mass

Well, being off work this past week and partaking of Christmas goodies have showed up on the scale.  No biking this week but did manage to make it to the gym for cardio on 3 days.

Though I’m not one to make New Year’s resolutions, I am resolved to “get back on the horse”.  Next week I’ll be back in my regular routine which will help tremendously.  Took a winter cold this weekend so we’ll see.

May you all have a happy, healthy, safe & prosperous New Year!

I plan on joining this frenzy this upcoming Sunday.  Not eager to weigh on a Sunday, rather it be on a day that I am actually on the site, but my Friday's garnered no co-conspirators.  So, I'll bow to peer pressure, and join.

Good Morning,

The Numbers:
346: All time high 7/1/10 - BMI = 52
326: Tufts Medical Center, Surgery 12/27/10 BMI=49
204: Weigh In 12/23/12
202: This Week 12/30/12 -->Down 2 lb BMI=29
144: Total Weight Loss

So, the number ticking down this week to 202. In light of the fact that the average American is said to gain 7-10 pounds during the holidays, I will gladly take a 2 pound loss!! Interesting, I seem to be able to clearly remember when the few times I make poor choices in eating, but seem to be oblivious to the innumerable times I make good choices. This journey is not only about eating  and exercising, but also to learn to rethink our relationship to food!

Also, my Exercise over the past week was good. I was able to get in 3 days of exercise/running. In fact, on Friday, I ran about 15K which is a little over 9 miles!!!! Now that is a major NSV. I did it as I am training to try to reach a New Years goal of running a 1/2 Marathon in 2013. Totally unbelievable that someone who could barely walk a  mile is now able to do  this!!!!

Happy New Years to all you Losers!!

Yours in WLS,

Bill Mac
